Pressure-resistant container
The invention relates to a can containing a liquid and/or a gaseous medium which has positive pressure or develops such during transport or storage, wherein the cylindrical can shell of the can consists mainly of paper or cardboard material and is closed at the bottom with a bottom element and at the top with a cover element, wherein the can withstands an internal pressure of at least 5 bar, wherein the innermost layer of the can shell consists of a straight-wound barrier layer having a longitudinally extending folded seam, wherein the barrier layer is a prefabricated laminate made of an inner diffusion-tight barrier film or an inner diffusion-tight barrier laminate and an outer kraft paper layer.
Apparatus for Creating a Rolled Back End
Apparatus for rolling back the end of a flexible tube, the apparatus comprising a flexible tube support, a plunger assembly having a flared conical end, a cover around the outside of the plunger assembly and actuator means for moving the plunger assembly into the flexible tube, and moving the cover over the rolled back end. In use a flexible tube is placed into the tube support, and its end is placed over the conical end. While the tube is held in position, plunger assembly advanced into the tube, flaring the end of the tube. The cover then continues to advance urging the flared end back on forming the rolled back end. The apparatus can fit a sleeve over the rolled back end, holding it is place, and can connect the sleeve to a tubing support.

Pipe bell end ring flare system and method of use thereof
A pipe bell-end ring flare device for use with a mandrel to form bell ends with a flared outer edge in plastic pipe sections either as part of the pipe manufacturing process or subsequent to the manufacturing process. The flared edge creating a wider bell end opening to make it easier to insert a non-bell end of another pipe into the flared bell end.

PIPE EXPANDING TOOL
A pipe expanding tool includes a wedge, a plurality of jaws, a spring and a first rotary member. The wedge is movable in a reciprocating manner between a first position and a second position along a first axis. The jaws are rotatable around the first axis and movable to a closed position and to an open position. The jaws are configured to move from the closed position to the open position as the wedge moves from the first position to the second position, and to move from the open position to the closed position as the wedge moves from the second position to the first position. The first rotary member is engaged with the jaws such that the first rotary member is integrally rotatable with the jaws, and is configured to be rotated only in one direction around the first axis by an elastic force of the spring.

Cannula bump
A method of creating a feature on a needle. The method comprising the steps of providing a needle having a sharpened distal end for insertion into an insertion site on a subject, a proximal end, and a tubular wall defining an inner diameter and an outer diameter; gripping a distal portion of the needle about the outer diameter; gripping a proximal portion of the needle about an outer diameter; and applying a compressive force between the distal portion and the proximal portion sufficient to effect an outward buckling of the tubular wall, thereby increasing an outer diameter of the tubular wall between the distal portion and the proximal portion.

Method and tool for molding a composite pressure vessel liner to a boss
A method for molding a composite pressure vessel liner to secure a boss to the liner is described. The method comprises providing a moldable liner having an end section with a neck and a port. A boss is positioned around the neck of the liner and the liner is heated and pressure is applied to mold the liner to form to the shape of the boss. The angle of the molded liner secures the boss in place around the liner and it is able to withstand high pressures. A tool for molding the liner and a method for using the tool is also described. The tool comprises a tool body and a pipe having external threads. The tool body abuts the liner and the boss. Winding the pipe exerts pressure on the liner, which when heated, forces the liner to mold to the shape of the boss.
