Method for manufacturing resin thin film stripped pieces
A method for producing flakes of a resin thin film including: a step (1) of forming a resin thin film on a substrate film to obtain a multilayer film; a step (2) of pressing the multilayer film by a member having a concavo-convex shape to form cracks in the resin thin film; and a step (3) of stripping the resin thin film from the substrate film to obtain flakes. The step (2) is preferably performed with a pressing pressure of 100 MPa or less. The resin thin film is preferably formed of a cured product of a photocurable liquid crystal composition. The resin thin film is preferably a cholesteric resin layer.
METASURFACE COATINGS
A method includes providing a coating (208) over a first surface (202) of a substrate (204) and over a metasurface (200) on the first surface of the substrate; and imprinting the coating to cause a surface of the coating to have a predetermined characteristic. A device includes a substrate; a metasurface on a first surface of the substrate; and a coating on the metasurface and on the first surface of the substrate, a surface of the coating defining a functional structure.
IMPRINT METHOD, IMPRINT APPARATUS, ARTICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD, MODEL, MODEL GENERATION METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention provides an imprint method of performing, for each of a plurality of shot regions on a substrate, a process of forming a pattern of an imprint material on the substrate using a mold, comprising: obtaining a model configured to receive condition information representing a condition of the process and output an extrusion state of the imprint material from a shot region; estimating the extrusion state of the imprint material from at least one first shot region that has already undergone the process, by the model, based on the condition information obtained in the process of the first shot region; and determining, based on the estimated extrusion state in the first shot region, whether to execute the process for a second shot region scheduled to undergo the process next to the first shot region.
IMPRINT APPARATUS, IMPRINT METHOD, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ARTICLE, DETERMINATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
The present invention provides an imprint apparatus that forms a pattern of an imprint material on a substrate using a mold, the apparatus comprising: a supplier configured to supply the imprint material as a plurality of droplets onto the substrate; and a controller configured to control the supplier based on information indicating a target arrangement of the imprint material to be supplied as the plurality of droplets onto a predetermined region of the substrate, wherein the plurality of droplets in the target arrangement include a first droplet group including a plurality of first droplet arrays, a second droplet group including a plurality of second droplet arrays, and a third droplet array.
IMPRINT APPARATUS, METHOD OF IMPRINTING, METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ARTICLE, AND PROGRAM THEREFOR
An imprint apparatus performing a pattern formation on an imprint material on a substrate by bringing the imprint material on the substrate and a mold into contact with each other, includes: an imprint unit configured to perform the pattern formation; and a control unit configured to control an operation of the imprint unit, in which the control unit performs a control such that the pattern formation is performed on all shot regions, in which no foreign substance exists, on a plurality of substrates using a first mold based on a foreign substance information on the substrate, and then the pattern formation is performed on all shot regions where the foreign substance exists on the plurality of substrates using a second mold different from the first mold.
IMPRINT APPARATUS AND ARTICLE MANUFACTURING METHOD
An imprint apparatus that performs an imprint process of forming a pattern of an imprint material on a substrate using a mold, the apparatus including a control unit configured to control a mold driving unit and a substrate driving unit, and the imprint process including curing the imprint material, and releasing the mold from the cured imprint material, wherein the control unit includes a compensator configured to feedback-control driving of at least one of the mold driving unit and the substrate driving unit such that a positional relationship between the mold and the substrate in the releasing is maintained at a positional relationship between the mold and the substrate in the curing, and makes a gain of the compensator in the releasing smaller than a gain of the compensator in a step of the imprint process other than the releasing.
Double-sided optical sheets
Disclosed are methods for forming a double-sided optical sheet, and a vehicle lamp assembly having the double-sided optical sheet integrated therein. A first optical pattern is imprinted on a first side of a material, and a second optical pattern is imprinted on a second side of the material, opposite the first side. The first and second optical patterns are thereby formed on opposing sides of the same sheet. When oriented adjacent a light source, the double-sided optical sheet homogenizes light emitted from the light source. For a light source having a plurality of lighting elements, the double-sided optical sheet is configured to blend light emitted from the plurality of lighting elements to form one homogenous beam of light output resulting from a single light-modifying member.
SURFACE FEATURE TRANSFER MEDIA AND METHODS OF USE
Forming features in the surface of a bicycle component involves depositing a substance onto a substrate in a geometric pattern to form a transfer medium. Forming features may also involve positioning the transfer medium relative to an unformed bicycle component, and forming a negative of the geometric pattern in the bicycle component through the application of heat and/or pressure to the transfer medium and the unformed bicycle component. The transfer medium may be configured for use in the molding of carbon fiber reinforced plastic (“CFRP”) bicycle components and may include a substrate formed of a flexible material, and a geometric pattern formed of a hard material, the hard material different than the flexible material.
DECORATIVE PANEL AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DECORATIVE PANEL
The invention relates to a decorative panel and to a method for producing a decorative panel, in particular a floor panel, wall panel or ceiling panel. The method comprises the steps of providing at least one decorative panel, the panel comprising a core layer comprising an upper surface and a bottom surface, applying at least one uncured coating onto the upper surface of the panel such that a coating layer is formed, creating a surface texture in the coating layer and curing the coating layer via UV curing.
Simulation method, simulation apparatus, and storage medium
There is provided a simulation method of predicting a behavior of a curable composition in a process of bringing a plurality of droplets of the curable composition arranged on one of a first member and a second member into contact with an other of the first member and the second member and forming a film of the curable composition on the first member. The method includes generating a link by connecting two adjacent representative points of the plurality of droplets, generating a cell as a closed region formed by a plurality of links, and determining, based on the presence/absence of merging of droplets corresponding to each link forming the cell, whether a bubble is formed in the cell.
