CLOSURE PATCH
A heat-shrink sleeve is provided for covering a pipe joint formed between two pipes that are coupled to one another to form a tube. The heat-shrink sleeve comprises a heat-shrinkable material that is configured to conform to the first and second pipes when heated to cover the pipe joint.
Apparatus for applying heat shrinkable casings onto preinsulated pipe joints
An automated heat shrink device, useful for forming a connection between two tubular sections having a polymeric outer surface jacket, for example, a connection between two sections of a district heating pipeline, and a method of use thereof. The device is configured such that it requires minimal clearance to either side of the pipeline when being used.
Method of lining a pipeline with a delayed curing resin composition
A resin composition and method for installing a pipe liner that allows the liner to be fully wet out with a resin and activator and stored for a period of up to six months prior to installation and curing. A method of lining a pipe with a delayed curing resin composition is also provided that includes fully wetting out a liner with a blended two part epoxy composition such that the liner can be transported in a wet out fashion, placed in a pipe to be lined and repositioned as needed without concern for the resin composition to begin curing.
Surgical Instrument System and Irrigation Sleeve
A surgical instrument system including an endoscope having an elongated housing extending between a proximal instrument end and a distal instrument end. The surgical instrument system may further include an irrigation sleeve having a sleeve body extending between a proximal sleeve end and a distal sleeve end. The irrigation sleeve may further have a first lumen and a second lumen spaced out of fluid communication with the first lumen, the first lumen formed in the sleeve body for receiving at least a portion of the elongated housing of the endoscope with the distal instrument end arranged adjacent to the distal sleeve end. The second lumen may be formed in the sleeve body and extend between a lumen inlet adapted for fluid communication with an irrigation source and a lumen outlet arranged to direct irrigation fluid toward the distal instrument end.
METHOD OF INSTALLING LINER ASSEMBLY FOR PIPELINE REPAIR OR REINFORCEMENT, AND LINER ASSEMBLY AND STEAM GENERATOR FOR SAME
A steam generator for use with a liner assembly for pipeline repair or reinforcement, includes: a water heater configured to heat water to generate steam; a water feed conduit configured to convey water to the water heater; an air heater configured to generate heated air; an air supply conduit configured to convey pressurized air to the air heater; a heated air supply conduit configured to convey heated air from the air heater to the water heater to yield a steam-air mixture; and an output conduit configured to convey the steam-air mixture from the water heater. An automated steam generator system including the steam generator is also described.
PIPE WITH AN OUTER WRAP
This disclosure relates generally to corrugated pipe, and more particularly to corrugated pipe with a reinforcing stiffener. The corrugated pipe may include an axially extended bore defined by a corrugated outer wall having axially adjacent, outwardly-extending corrugation crests, separated by corrugation valleys. In some embodiments, a stiffener may be positioned within the corrugation valleys. In other embodiments, a stiffener may be positioned within the corrugation crests.
Method and system for lining pipes
A method and system for inserting a liner and lining pipes from inside a water main or other larger pipe. The method and system generally includes inserting a string inside the first pipe between a first end and a second end, inserting the string through a liner positioning tool, attaching a first end of the string to the liner, and then pulling the liner into the first pipe with the first string such that the liner extends from the first end to the second end of the pipe. One end of the string may be attached to the liner by a pulling insert, which may be a threaded insert that screws into an end of the liner, and which may further include a fluid passage to allow hot water or other fluid to flow through the insert while the string is connected to it.
Interface Tubing for Peristaltic Pump
A pump interface tubing for use in a peristaltic pump includes a tubular core having an outer surface and a treatment on the outer surface. The treatment reduces static charge buildup on the tubular core during operation of the peristaltic pump, and thereby reduces the noise signal that might otherwise undesirably couple to a signal of interest. Treatments include nitrile layers, heat shrink layers, cotton fiber layers, and anti-static sprays.
Compact, Low Cost Shrink Labeler
One embodiment is a shrink labeler for use to shrink a shrink label onto a bottle including: a containment wall having a gas/steam inlet; and a showerhead container capable of holding the bottle in close proximity to orifices disposed therein and having an aperture through which the bottle may be introduced thereinto; wherein the gas/steam inlet is coupled to a plenum disposed between the containment wall and the showerhead container.
Heat-shrinkable tube covering
A sleeve is provided for covering a pipe joint formed between two pipes that are coupled to one another to form a tube. The sleeve comprises a heat-shrinkable material that is configured to conform to the first and second pipes when heated to cover the pipe joint.
