INFRARED HEAT ASSISTED DRYING OF THIN FILMS
A method of applying a paint film to a substrate may include wetting a surface of the substrate or an adhesive layer of a paint film to form a fluid layer thereon. The paint film may further comprise a polymer film layer. The method may further include applying the paint film to the substrate such that the fluid layer is positioned between the adhesive layer and the surface. The applied paint film may be heated with infrared heat to facilitate the removal of the fluid layer and adhere the adhesive layer to the surface. Systems and devices for applying a paint film to a substrate are also disclosed.
Large diameter pipe lining and repair
A method for installing a liner in a large diameter pipeline. In accordance with the method, the interior surface of the pipeline to be repaired is prepared by removing excess debris and dirt. A repair composite is brought into the tunnel or pipeline in a dry state. Once the dry repair composite is laid out in the structure to be repaired the repair composite is folded out and saturated and wetted out with high pressure spray guns. The spray guns are employed within the structure and an appropriate resin material is applied as required to wet out the fiber material. A calibration bladder is inflated and holds the repair composite in place against the pipeline walls until the epoxy resin is fully cured. Once the process is complete, the bladder tube is retrieved out of the system leaving the repair composite as a stand-alone system.
Methods for application of polymeric film and related assemblies
A method of applying a polymeric film to an article when forming an assembly according to the invention comprises: providing a polymeric film sized to cover at least a portion of at least one exterior surface of the article; providing at least one gaseous agent to form a coating on at least one surface of the polymeric film and/or at least one exterior surface of the article to be contacted when forming an assembly; contacting at least a portion of the polymeric film and at least a portion of the at least one exterior surface of the article; and form-fitting the polymeric film with the portion of the at least one exterior surface of the article.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR COATING SOLID WOOD FLOOR AND SOLID WOOD FLOOR
A method and an apparatus for coating a solid wood floor and a solid wood floor are provided. The method for coating a solid wood floor includes providing a solid wood floor, where the solid wood floor has two side surfaces defining boundaries of a width dimension of the solid wood floor; and providing a polyethylene protective film, and adhering the polyethylene protective film to at least one of the two side surfaces. Therefore, external moisture can be prevented from entering the solid wood floor so as to avoid deformation of the floor due to moisture; an external dust, water, etc. can be prevented from entering between two adjacent solid wood floors; an overall appearance of the laid solid wood floors will not be affected by the coating; when the laid solid wood floors are subjected to force, no noise will be emitted, thereby improving customer satisfaction.

Hockey Stick
A blade for a hockey stick which can readily absorb impact from the puck, and can allow the user to feel the puck on the blade in contrast to conventional carbon fiber blades. The blade can include a blade member integrally formed of composite material having discontinuous fibers bonded within thermosetting resin. The blade member can have a blade periphery surrounding a central blade region. The central blade region can have a plurality of openings arranged in a pattern to form series of elongate criss crossing ribs that extend between and connect different sides of the blade periphery to each other. The fibers in the blade periphery can be in a generally jumbled orientation, and the fibers in the central blade region can be positioned within the ribs in a manner wherein each rib contains a plurality of fibers that substantially extend in said each rib's elongate direction.
Method for processing components with high standard of cleanliness, and production line applying the method
A production line for producing components to a high standard of cleanliness and sealed and protected in that state includes a loading device, a cleaning device, a detecting device, a pasting device, a heat-sealing device, a packing device, and transfer devices of the production line. The production line automatically processes the components for obtaining components with the high cleanliness. By the processes of protective film pasting, heat-sealing, and packing, the components may be further protected from subsequent pollution. A method for producing components with a high cleanliness applied to the production line is also disclosed.
METHOD FOR PREVENTING CORROSION TO AN IRON ALLOY POST
A method for preventing corrosion to an iron alloy post for enclosing an exterior surface of a galvanized fence post with insulation to reduce deterioration due to oxidation includes the steps of coating a fence post with an anti-corrosion solution to prevent corrosion to the fence post due to oxidation. The fence post extends into an insulation sleeve such that the exterior surface of the fence post is completely enclosed within the insulation sleeve. A standing member fastens to the fence post and is positioned adjacent to a bottom end of the fence post. The bottom end and the standing member insert into a ground surface to frictionally anchor the fence post in ground surface.
A FENCE POST ASSEMBLY WITH AN OPTIONAL ANCHORING DEVICE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE THEREOF
A fence post assembly for enclosing an exterior surface of a galvanized fence post with insulation to reduce deterioration due to oxidation includes the steps of coating a fence post with an anti-corrosion solution to prevent corrosion to the fence post due to oxidation. The fence post extends into an insulation sleeve such that the exterior surface of the fence post is completely enclosed within the insulation sleeve. A standing member fastens to the fence post and is positioned adjacent to a bottom end of the fence post. METHOD OF APPLYING RUBBER LINING TO THE INTERNAL SURFACE OF PIPING AND FITTINGS
A method of lining a piping assembly with rubber to form a rubber liner. An inner surface of the piping assembly is selected for lining. One or more containment devices are attached/inserted in the piping based on the selected surfaces. The inflatable bladder is introduced to an inner bore of the piping. The inflatable bladder is inflated to a predetermined pressure. An oven or autoclave is heated to a predetermined temperature. The piping assembly is introduced to the oven and heated until a predetermined curing temperature. The piping assembly is cooled for a predetermined cooling time and a rubber inner liner is formed on the selected surface.
