METHODS AND APPARATUSES FOR UNIVERSAL INTERFACE BETWEEN PARTS IN TRANSPORT STRUCTURES
Techniques for providing universal interfaces between parts of a transport structure are disclosed. In one aspect of the disclosure, an apparatus for joining first and second parts of a transport structure includes an additively manufactured body having first and second surfaces. The first surface may connect to a first part such as, for example, a panel. The second surface may include a fitting for mating with a complementary fitting on a second part.
APPLICATION OF POLYMER THERMOFOIL TO METAL SUBSTRATE
The present invention is directed to a novel method for application of polymer thermofoil to a metal substrate. The method involves first coating a metal substrate with an oxidation-preventing or oxidation-limiting coating, then adhering a polymer thermofoil to the metal substrate. After application of the thermofoil, the metal substrate can be formed to the final shape. The method is advantageous in that it allows one to efficiently manufacture metal objects in a variety of aesthetically pleasing surface finishes.
Internal tensioning structure useable with inflatable devices
An internal tensioning structure for use in an inflatable product fulfills the basic function of maintaining two adjacent inflatable surfaces in a desired geometric arrangement when the inflatable product is pressurized. The tensioning structure is formed by connecting a pair of plastic strips sheets via spaced-apart strands, such as strings or wires. When pulled taut, the strands provide a high tensile strength between the two opposed plastic strips. At the same time, the plastic strips facilitate a strong, long-lasting weld between the tensioning structure and the inflatable product.

METHOD FOR JOINING A DEVICE TO AN OBJECT WITH THE AID OF ULTRASONIC VIBRATION ENERGY AND DEVICE AND INSTALLATION SUITABLE FOR THE METHOD
A method for joining a device to an object with the aid of a combination of ultrasonic vibration energy and induction heating, wherein the device includes a portion of a thermoplastic polymer and a susceptor additive wherein this portion is at least partly liquefied or plasticized through the ultrasonic vibration energy in combination with the induction heating and wherein the joining includes establishing a connection between the device and the object which connection is at least one of a positive fit connection, a weld, a press fit connection, and an adhesive connection. The induction heating is applied for rendering the device portion suitable for absorption of ultrasonic vibration energy than other device portions by raising its temperature above the glass transition temperature of the polymer. The ultrasonic vibration energy is used for liquefying or at least plasticizing the thermoplastic polymer of the named device portion.

ELASTIC NON-WOVEN LAMINATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A lamination system includes a film supply, a non-woven material supply, and a laminator. The laminator causes a film from the film supply to be laminated to a sheet from the non-woven material supply to establish a laminated sheet.
MULTIPURPOSE SPATULA
The present invention relates to a multipurpose spatula which has a separable pressing member on the outer surface of a body thereof, wherein the pressing member can be rotated as required to allow the other side surface thereof to be located on the end of one side pressing piece, so as to minimize the occurrence of scratches on sheets attached to advertising signs and tables, etc. and also to promote user conveniences.
NO-DRILL PERMANENT-LIKE SURFACE MOUNTING DEVICE
This invention relates to the configuration of a mounting base and a method of mounting objects to hard surfaces using the combination of at least one anchoring screw, bolt, rod, or assembly; one mounting base; and one chemical bonding material to perform the anchoring function.
