Burn and wound healing Suit and method
A burn/wound healing suit with circulating healing anesthetizing and antiseptic liquid. The healing suit is formed of modular parts, including a torso part, upper extremity parts, and lower extremity parts. Each modular part tapers at an end where it connects to another modular part, or seals at this end to be used individually. A connection part is a rigid tube that goes between the connecting parts to enable fluid connection between the different parts. The fluid is circulated by a pump, and heated and filtered to maintain a sterile environment.
Precision applicator
An applicator comprises a first structural element which has a shape determined according to a digital geometric representation of a target structure, the applicator further comprises an active agent located according to a diagnostic scan of the target structure.
Portable medical treatment system and method of use
A medical treatment system including a treatment chamber, a source of an aqueous mist containing a medication, a source of an oxygen-enriched gas, and a control system adapted to alternately surround a human body part with a mist containing a medication and the oxygen enriched gas, which can be used to treat various skin disorders including infected lesions, bacterial infections such as acne (i.e. Propionibacterium acnes), fungal infections such as Athlete's foot (i.e. fungal genus Trichophyton), conditions associated with hair loss including alopecia as well as ulcerations and frostbite resulting from poor circulation. A method of treating skin disorders is also disclosed, that includes providing a mist containing a medication and enriched oxygen gas to the site being treated as well as providing oxygen to the patient during treatment.
Cosmetic Sheet Masks For Improved Product Delivery
Nonwoven fabrics may be fashioned as topical delivery systems with increased and controllable rate of product release, while still possessing the requisite strength and durability for mass production and distribution. Such delivery systems comprise fabrics that are fashioned from micro-denier fibers that are produced by fibrillating bicomponent island-in-the-sea fibers. Facial masks made from these fabrics can achieve adequate product delivery in 3-5 minutes or less.
Active apparel and fabric and coverings
A fabric delivers active ingredients to a surface when the fabric includes a moist-vapor porous combination of fabric materials, and the fabric comprises at least 0.5% by total weight of at least one layer of the fabric of a superabsorbent polymer fiber. The superabsorbent polymer fiber contains an absorbed aqueous reservoir of an aqueous solution carrying the active ingredients. The superabsorbent fiber has a coating on its surface of an aqueous penetrable layer through which a liquid in the absorbed aqueous reservoir can migrate or flow, carrying the active ingredients onto an exposed surface of the superabsorbent polymer fiber, so that the active ingredients on the surface of the superabsorbent polymer can react or interact with an environment in contact with the active ingredients on the superabsorbent polymer fiber surface.
Patterned Engagement Structure for Compact Adhesive Face Masks
A face mask, comprising: a left half and a right half; one or more adhesive portions; and one or more release-coating portions; wherein the left half and right half are divided by a center axis; wherein the adhesive portions are strips located along an outer portion of the left half and the right half; wherein the face mask comprises a symmetrical folded configuration and an unfolded configuration; wherein the left half and the right half are configured to releasably engage one another in the symmetrical folded configuration; wherein the left half and the right half are configured to releasably engage a wearer's face in the unfolded configuration.
SKIN MASK COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS OF USE
The invention provides skin mask compositions and methods of treating or preventing one or more skin conditions in a subject caused by extended use of PPE, comprising applying a skin mask composition to the face of the subject.
Eyelid treatment device and associated methods
Implementations described herein include a device comprising a frame and an energy source operably coupled to the frame that applies energy to eyelids and allows for normal blinking of the eye. The frame is securably positionable on a face of a user. The frame includes an engagement portion operably coupled to a support portion. The engagement portion is positionable over an eye of a user. The engagement portion extends between a medial side and a lateral side thereof. The support portion is securable to the face of the user peripheral to an eye area thereof. The eye area includes both the upper eyelid and the lower eyelid of the eye. The engagement portion can be a first engagement portion and the frame can further include a second engagement portion spaced apart from the first engagement portion. The first engagement portion and the second engagement portion can be coupled via a support portion extending therebetween.
Burn Treatment Glove
A burn treatment glove for alleviating pain resulting from a burn and preventing infection includes a glove comprising a contoured layer constructed of an elastically stretchable, liquid-impermeable material. An elastic tension force in the glove compresses a hand wearing the glove for improved blood flow and reduced swelling. A medicinal liquid coats a portion of the interior surface, which applies to a burn on the skin of the hand when the burn contacts the liquid.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR SURGICAL PREPARATION
A device used for applying an antiseptic preparation to a patient outside of a sterile environment. In one embodiment, a loose-fitting bag is provided which encloses a patient appendage. In another embodiment, a loose-fitting bag is provided which encloses all or part of the lower half of a patient. A textured surface is provided on the interior surface of the bag. The bag includes one or more removable drainage pouches attached to resealable lower ports. The bag further includes side closures which can be ruptured to allow access to the disinfected appendage or appendages. After disinfection, the antiseptic preparation is drained and sealed in the drainage pouches. The drainage pouches are then removed and discarded.
