Marked guide for conduit or tube bending
A marked guide includes an elongated body having a bendable core with a length dimension and made of material that is bendable along the length dimension to selectively form various bent shapes, and that retains the bent shapes without external support. The elongated body also has at least one layer of second material provided around the core, the second material being elastomeric or resiliently flexible. An outer surface of the body has a plurality of markings, including a first line marking positioned at a 0-degree point, a second line marking positioned at a 90-degree point, a third line marking positioned at a 180-degree point and a fourth line marking positioned at a 270-degree point.
CONTAINER FOR PRODUCING A DENTAL SYNTHETIC MATERIAL COMPOSITION
A container (100) for producing a self-curing or dual-curing dental synthetic material composition (200), which container comprises a deformable wall (101), having a first synthetic material component (103-1); and a second synthetic material component (103-2) for curing the synthetic material composition (200) or starting a curing reaction.
High-pressure mixing device with sensored self-cleaning delivery duct
A device for mixing at high-pressure two or more reactive liquid components or resins includes a head-body provided with a mixing chamber with inlet and outlet openings for the injecting and recirculating reactive components; a single-piece tubular element, for delivering the mixture; a valve member with longitudinal recirculation slots; the tubular element is removably inserted into a pass-through hole of the head-body, having annular shoulder zone, separated and distant from the transversal hole; fixing elements removably lock the annular shoulder zone at the head-body for holding the tubular element in the aforesaid hole; a clearance gap between the tubular element and the pass-through hole of the head-body is provided such that the forces are exchanged through the annular shoulder zone; sealing and centering elements avoid leakages of polymeric mixture. Deformation-detecting elements detect the deformation conditions which the tubular element is subjected.
Process and a device assembly useful for producing a molded silicone rubber product from liquid silicone rubber composition via injection molding
The invention relates to a device assembly and methods useful for producing molded silicone rubber products from liquid silicone rubber compositions (LSR) via injection molding. The methods provide a flexible process to produce faster cured silicone rubber products from LSR and allow for use of low curing temperature in the molding cavities without drastically lowering cure speed of the LSR and the physical properties of the produced molded silicone rubber material, therefore allowing liquid silicone rubber overmolding on or over heat sensitive substrates. The device assembly of the invention allows a faster cycle and the use of precise dosing and mixing units thus creating a flexible process to produce cured silicone rubber products faster from liquid silicone rubber (LSR).
COVERING ARTICLE, BATTERY PACK CONTAINING THE SAME AND THE PROCESS FOR PREPARING THE BATTERY PACK
Disclosed herein are a 3D shape covering article including a reaction injection molded product as core layer and two metal sheets located on both sides of the core layer, a battery pack including the covering article, and a process for preparing the battery pack.
Molding method and mold therefor
Molding methods and molds for making a synthetic resin molded product include disposing a curable liquid resin mixture in a recess of a female mold. The curable liquid resin mixture is then simultaneously agitated and degassed by a mixer while under a partial vacuum. More specifically, at least the female mold is orbited around an orbital axis while being rotated about a rotational axis that is eccentric to the orbital axis. After being thoroughly mixed and degassed, the liquid mixture is then cured in the mold unit.
MELTING DEVICE AND METHOD FOR MELTING MELTABLE PLASTIC MATERIAL, METHOD FOR MIXING REACTIVE PLASTIC COMPONENT
A melting device includes a container capable of melting a material supplied in a free-flowing state and storing the material in a liquid state. The container includes a first storage section for storing the material in the free-flowing state, a second storage section for storing the material in the liquid state, and a dividing section provided between the first storage section and the second storage section and configured to hold back the material, when the material is in a non-molten or free-flowing state and to allow passage of the material from the first storage section into the second storage section, when the material is in a molten or liquid state.
Method for manufacturing a flexible skin having at least one insert adhered thereto
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing a flexible skin which has at least one insert adhered thereto. In a first step, the skin is molded on a mold surface. In order to adhere the insert to the skin, an opening is first made in the skin giving access to the back face of the insert. The insert is positioned with its back face against the front face of the skin and an adhering layer is provided which is adhesively connected to the back face of the skin layer which surrounds the opening in the skin layer and, through this opening, to the back face of the insert. The adhering layer is preferably produced by applying a layer of a hardenable material, in particular a curable polyurethane composition. Since the back face of the insert engages the front side of the skin penetration of hardenable material to the front face of the insert is avoided.
Golf ball displaying improved adhesion between TiO2-pigmented layer incorporating silane-containing adhesion promoter and an adjacent differing layer
Golf ball comprising first layer of first polymeric composition, and second layer adjacent to first layer and comprising second polymeric composition different than first polymeric composition and comprising throughout: (i) passivated TiO.sub.2 particulates amount of from about 1 wt. %-10 wt. % based on total weight of second polymeric composition; and (ii) silane-containing adhesion promoter(s), for example, organosilanes and/or organosiloxanes, such that a given amount thereof within the range of from about 0.1 wt. % to about 5.0 wt. % has a first required amount of free functional groups to bond the second layer and the first layer at an interface in addition to a second required amount of functional groups bonding and/or crosslinking ingredients within the second polymeric composition of the second layer. Neither layer is surface treated with at least one silane-containing adhesion promoter, nor is a tie layer disposed there between. Excellent dual interlayer/intralayer bonding is thereby created within the second layer and with adjacent layer(s).
COMPOSITE COMPONENT
The invention relates to a composite component that has improved bonding properties and includes a substrate (i) made of a thermoplastic polymer blend composition, and a coating (ii); in a layer located 5 to 10 m below the boundary surface between the substrate (i) and the coating (ii), the substrate (i) has a dispersed, non-lamellar phase structure. The invention also relates to a method for manufacturing the composite component.
