IMPROVED MOLDING DEVICE FOR CASTING AN OPTICAL ARTICLE WITH WAFER ON TOP, CORRESPONDING METHOD AND OPTICAL ARTICLE
A molding device for casting an optical article with a thermoset resin the optical article defining two opposed main surfaces, one of which being formed by an optical functional wafer, the molding device comprising:—a. a molding element (2) forming a rear or a front part of a casting mold—b. a gasket (3) intended to surround the molding element—c. an initially curved wafer (4) defining a predetermined curvature depending on one of the two main surfaces of the optical article to be molded—d. a closing element (6) defining in a closing position in which the peripheral part of the wafer on the gasket is pinched, a pouring space between the molding element, the gasket and the wafer—e. spacing means (9) interposed between the wafer and the molding element to define an internal volume between the wafer and the closing element, the spacing means, wafer and closing element being configured to form a set hermetic to the resin to be poured into the molding device the closing member occupies a closing position.
Footwear assembly method with 3D printing
Methods and systems are disclosed for apparel assembly using three-dimensional printing directly onto fabric apparel materials. Disclosed is a method and system for direct three-dimensional printing and assembly of an article of apparel, including designing a three-dimensional pattern for printing, positioning at least a portion of the article on a tray in a three-dimensional printing system, the portion being positioned substantially flat on the tray, printing a three-dimensional material directly onto the article using the designed pattern, curing the printed material, and removing the article from the three-dimensional printing system.

Selective attachment of a yarn structure
A method and system are disclosed. A method of printing onto a base having an upper surface spaced from a lower surface by a base thickness includes dispensing a yarn from a nozzle of a printing system and selectively attaching the yarn to a first attachment region. The step of dispensing the yarn includes dispensing a heat-moldable material and a melt-resistant material. The step of selectively attaching the yarn to the first attachment region includes moving the nozzle into the first attachment region. The step of moving the nozzle into the first attachment region reduces the base thickness by a prodding distance. The heat-moldable material bonds to the first attachment region.
Fitting element for use in rehabilitation of pipelines and method for producing the same
A fitting element for use in rehabilitation of pipelines with a liner. The fitting element is a composite article of reinforcing fibers and a resin composition. A first part of the fitting element has reinforcing fibers and a substantially fully cured resin composition, and a second part has dry reinforcing fibers that can accept a curable resin composition that optionally originates from the liner to form a functional joint between the fitting element and the liner. An interface layer of the fitting element structurally connects the first and the second part. A method for manufacturing the fitting element, as well as a method for rehabilitation of a pipeline with a tubular liner and a joined assembly of the fitting element and a liner for use in rehabilitating a pipeline.
Method and tool for manufacturing a vehicle interior trim part, as well as a vehicle interior trim part
The present disclosure relates to a method for manufacturing a vehicle interior trim part with at least one functional and/or decorative element. The functional and/or decorative element can be additively manufactured from a thermoplastic material and include a structured surface. The present disclosure further relates to a tool including a depositing unit and a receiving device with a receiving surface which is curved or at least partly structured.
