An object of the present invention is to provide a coagulant with excellent coagulability performance, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the coagulant. The present invention is a coagulant of a tire puncture repair liquid, the coagulant including at least one component selected from the group consisting of a plant protein, a pectin, a cellulose, a phospholipid and a fatty acid glyceride, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the coagulant.

PNEUMATIC TIRE

Provided is a pneumatic tire having sufficient sealing performance. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a sealant layer located radially inside an innerliner, the sealant layer being formed by applying a sealant to the inner periphery of a tire from which mold release agents have been removed.

PNEUMATIC TIRE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING SAME

Provided are a pneumatic tire in which the attachment start portion of the sealant does not easily peel off, and a method for producing the pneumatic tire. The present invention relates to a pneumatic tire including a generally string-shaped adhesive sealant, the sealant being continuously and spirally attached at least to the inner periphery of the tire that corresponds to a tread portion, the sealant having a wider portion at at least one of the longitudinal ends thereof, the wider portion having a width larger than that of the longitudinally adjoining portion.

Rolling Assembly

Adapter for a rolling assembly comprising a tire, and a rim having two rim seats and two rim flanges. The adapter has an axially inner end mounted on the rim seat and comprises an inner reinforcing element, an axially outer end that comprises an outer reinforcing element, a body that connects the two ends to form a single piece. A substantially cylindrical adapter seat is configured to receive a bead, and is situated at the axially outer end of the body. An adapter bearing face is substantially contained in a plane perpendicular to the rotation axis, and situated on the axially inner face of the axially outer end. The reinforcing element of the axially outer end is entirely situated axially outside the bearing face. The body comprises, opposite the adapter seat, an annular seat reinforcer. The inner wall of the tire is covered by a layer of a self-sealing composition.

Agent for Provisionally Sealing Inflatable or Pressurizable Objects and Method for Provisionally Sealing Inflatable or Pressurizable Objects

The invention relates to an agent for provisionally sealing inflatable or pressurizable objects, in particular pneumatic vehicle tyres, containing at least one rubber latex and at least a first antifreeze. The invention also relates to a method for provisionally sealing inflatable or pressurizable objects, in particular pneumatic vehicle tyres. The agent has a total solids content of rubber latex and adhesive resin of 3 to 30% by weight and the antifreeze is/are selected from the group consisting of 1,2-propane diol and 1,3-propane diol and 1,2-butane diol and 1,3-butane diol and glycerin and triethylene glycol and 0 to 9% by weight ethylene glycol.

An object of the present invention is to provide a novel emulsion coagulant having excellent coagulability used in a tire puncture sealing agent, and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same. The present invention is an emulsion coagulant comprising magnesium oxide and a silane coupling agent and a cellulose and/or magnesium hydroxide, wherein a mass ratio of the magnesium oxide to the silane coupling agent is from 100:0.5 to 100:15; and a tire puncture repair kit that uses the same.

Method for testing the resistance of a tyre to pressure loss

A method for testing a punctured tyre's resistance to a loss in pressure includes: creating a plurality of punctures in a wall of the tyre by inserting a plurality of puncturing objects through the wall; running the tyre with the puncturing objects in the wall thereof over a given distance with a regulated inflation pressure; stopping the running of the tyre; and determining, for each puncture, a pressure loss resistance index based on an estimate of a leak rate of the puncture.
