Portable Watering Apparatus With Indicia For Determining Remaining Volume of Liquid During Watering
20230403998 · 2023-12-21 ·

In the examples described herein, a portable watering apparatus includes a reservoir with at least one transparent sidewall having volume dispensing measuring indicia. A spout is connected at or near the bottom of reservoir. When the apparatus is tilted to a watering angle, liquid flows from the reservoir through the spout to exit the apparatus. The indica allows the user to determine the remaining volume of liquid in the reservoir while the apparatus is positioned at the watering angle. As the liquid flows, the volume of liquid dispensed can be determined by observing the change in liquid level relative to the indicia.

A device and method of watering plants using a programmable bucket is described. In one version, the programmable bucket uses a reservoir for water, a pump, at least one minimum pressure valve, a control enclosure, a water level switch, a flow meter, a watering hose, and a cover with an opening adapted to facilitate filling of the reservoir with a funnel and a removable plug. In use, power to the control enclosure is turned on and the reservoir is filled with water, setting the calibrated amount of water. The watering hose is removed from a recycling adaptor, the pump is activated through use of pushbuttons on the control enclosure, water fills the watering hose, once it reaches a minimum pressure valve water exits the hose under pressure, a signal from flow meter changes a volume of water in reservoir.

Flexible Pouch with Microcapillary Dispensing System

The present disclosure provides a flexible pouch. In an embodiment, the flexible pouch includes opposing flexible films. The flexible films define a common peripheral edge. A microcapillary strip is sealed between the opposing flexible films. A first side of the microcapillary strip is located at a first side of the common peripheral edge and a second side of the microcapillary strip located at a second side of the common peripheral edge. A peripheral seal extends along at least a portion of the common peripheral edge. The peripheral seal comprises a sealed microcapillary segment. The peripheral seal forms a closed flexible pouch having a storage compartment. A liquid is present in the storage compartment.

Plant watering device

A plant watering device. The plant watering device includes an outer container having a plurality of apertures on a lower portion of a first sidewall, an inner container having a second sidewall defining and open upper end and an open lower end, wherein the second sidewall of the inner container is secured to an interior surface of the first sidewall of the outer container via a fastener; and an apron encircling an outer side of the first sidewall. The plant watering device is securable to the ground via a stake. In use, water is poured into the inner container, flows through the open lower end of the inner container to the outer container interior volume, and then exits the apertures of the outer container. This allows the water to gently diffuse around an area where a plant is planted, while the apron prevents soil erosion and damage to the plant.

APPARATUS FOR APPLYING A LIQUID AND METHOD OF USE

Living plant display and storage system, apparatus and method

A new or improved modular plant display and storage system that reduces the risks of plants tipping over and of spillage of plant and soil (or other growing medium) out the top of the pot, as well as the risk of water (and soil/growing medium) seepage and mess from the bottom of the pot. The invention can house potted plants without the need to re-pot or transplant the plants into growing medium that sits within the modular structure.
