COMPOSITE PREFORM, COMPOSITE CONTAINER, COMPOSITE PREFORM, PLASTIC MEMBER, AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING COMPOSITE CONTAINER
[Problem] To provide: a composite container which can be given various functions and characteristics; a method for producing such composite container; a preform; and a composite preform.
[Solution] A composite container according to the present invention includes: a container body which is made of a plastic material; and a plastic member disposed on the outer surface of the container body, wherein the container body and the plastic member are integrally inflated by means of blow molding, and wherein the plastic member includes a colored layer and/or a print layer where a print is made.
PREFORM EXTENDED FINISH FOR PROCESSING LIGHT WEIGHT ECOLOGICALLY BENEFICIAL BOTTLES
An injection-molded preform for forming an 8 ounce PET container includes a neck portion configured to engage a closure and having a first wall thickness and an elongated body portion having an upper segment adjacent the neck portion and a lower segment adjacent an end cap. The upper segment has a second wall thickness substantially similar to the first wall thickness. The lower segment has a third wall thickness greater than the second wall thickness. The preform has a total weight less than 7 grams.
High gloss high density polyethylene containers
The present invention is directed to a process for making a low coefficient of friction (COF) high gloss polyolefin bottle by the following: a) adding a high gloss metallocene polyethylene during a manufacturing process on the outer layer of a container; b) adding a slip agent on the outer layer of the container wherein the container has a gloss range greater than 60 gloss units with a coefficient of friction of less than 0.25.
Container, preform assembly and method and apparatus for forming containers
Container comprising an inner container and an outer container with facing surfaces, wherein at least part of at least one of the facing surfaces has a surface roughness higher than about 0.1 Ra and/or wherein the difference in roughness of the facing surfaces is at least over a part more than about 0.1 Ra.
Preform coating device
A preform coating device is provided with: a rotational holding part that horizontally holds a preform and rotates the preform about the axis of the preform, and that grasps a spout of the preform; a conveyance part that conveys the preform by moving the rotational holding part; a dispenser that discharges a coating liquid toward the preform; a preform support part that supports the bottom-side end of the cylindrical barrel of the preform while the dispenser is discharging the coating liquid; and a spout support part that supports the outer circumferential surface of the spout of the preform while the dispenser is discharging the coating liquid.
METHOD FOR FORMING CONTAINERS WITH MULTIPLE WALLS
Disclosed is a for forming a container with multiple walls by blow molding or stretch blow molding of a preform, including a blow-molding phase followed by a degassing phase, beginning at a moment, of the formed container, to bring t:s pressure back to the ambient pressure. The method also includes: a continuous measurement of the pressure prevailing in the neck during the degassing phase; the determination of the length of time that has elapsed between the beginning of the degassing and the attaining of a reference pressure in the neck; the comparison of the length of time that has elapsed with a theoretical length of time that is necessary so that the reference pressure is attained in the neck; and maintaining the locking of the mold if the length of time that has elapsed is less than the theoretical length of time.
Article with visual effect
A blow molded article having a body portion that includes one or more walls surrounding an interior space. The one or more walls have an article inner surface, an article outer surface, and a wall thickness. At least a portion of the one or more walls includes one or more effect structures each having an effect surface normal having an orientation. Further there is a first region including a plurality of first effect structures having a first Average Normal Orientation, a second region including a plurality of second effect structures having a second Average Normal Orientation which is different from the first Average Normal Orientation, and a visual effect resulting from the difference between the first Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the first region and the second Average Normal Orientation of the effect structures in the second region.
WIDE-NECKED CONTAINER HAVING AN ATTACHED THREADED SLEEVE
A method for producing a container having a threaded wide neck, includes steps of: heating a preform having a polyester body, on which there is mounted a polyolefin sleeve positioned next to an area of the body corresponding to the wide neck of the container; introducing the heated preform, with the sleeve, into a mould having the footprint of the container, including a threaded area having the footprint of the wide neck; injecting a pressurised fluid into the preform in order to form a blank of the container including a lower portion including the wide neck with a thread formed in the sleeve and an upper portion above the wide neck; separating the upper portion from the lower portion that thus forms the container.
Method of making article with visual effect
Method of making a blow molded article from a preform including: a) providing a preform of a thermoplastic material having a plurality of effect structures each having an effect surface having a normal with an orientation, the preform having a body with one or more walls and an opening, wherein at least a portion of the one or more walls of the preform has a three-dimensional pattern of cavities and/or protrusions thereon; and b) blow molding the preform to form a blow molded article, wherein the step of blow molding the preform changes the orientation of the normal of at least some of the effect surfaces of the effect structures to create a visual effect in at least one wall of the blow molded article.
Dispenser Container
The invention relates to a dispenser container consisting of an outer container and an inner container for receiving a fluid, wherein the outer container and the inner container are formed from blow-moulded plastics, which do not form an integral connection with one another, and wherein a first plastic from which the inner container is formed has a higher elasticity than a second plastic from which the outer container is formed, such that the inner container is deformable, and wherein the outer container has at least one pressure compensation opening for pressure compensation in the region between the outer container and the inner container, wherein the inner container has a first outlet region and the outer container has a second outlet region, wherein the first outlet region can be shifted relative to the second outlet region in an outlet direction.
