Lenticular print three dimensional image display device and method of fabricating the same
09625730 · 2017-04-18 · ·

The invention provides a lenticular lens type three-dimensional image display device and a method of fabricating the device without a need for a clear plastic substrate transposed between the image and lenticular lenses. The device can be obtained by directly printing curable coatings onto the image, making them particularly well suited for volume production. The combination the image printing and application of curable coatings process can be joined together to conduct the single pass-process. The single pass-process allows for flexibility of the printing only selective areas of the substrate. Moreover, this process allows the device to be recyclable.

Color improving film and method of manufacturing the same

Provided is a color improving film comprising a base layer, a high refractive light diffusion layer including an organic light diffuser on the base layer, a high refractive resin layer on the high refractive light diffusion layer, and a low refractive resin layer in which a lenticular lens pattern is formed on the high refractive resin layer, wherein the organic light diffuser comprises particles coated with a black pigment and non-coated particles, and wherein the lenticular lens pattern is formed on a surface of the low refractive resin layer facing the high refractive resin layer. According to the color improving film, a change in color sensitivity according to an angle of view is small, an external light reflectivity is low, and a light transmittivity and a light diffusibility are substantially improved. Also, the method of preparing the color improving film has excellent processiblity and economic efficiency.

METHOD OF FORMING PACKAGED LENS MODULES
20170087755 · 2017-03-30 ·

A method of forming packaged lens modules is disclosed which includes: securing first ends of a plurality of lens modules equidistantly on a first mold plate; providing a second mold plate matching with second ends of the lens modules and securing the second mold plate on the second ends of the lens modules; filling a black material in gaps between the lens modules; and removing the first and second mold plates after the black material is cured and performing a dicing process. The method can effectively block lens openings to protect lenses from being contaminated and can eliminate the need for adhesive application and removal generally performed on second ends of the lens modules, thereby resulting in time savings and an efficiency improvement. Additionally, a height of the resulting packaged lens modules can be modified for back focal length compensation thereof by changing the size of the second mold plate.
