Antimicrobial Skin Isolator for Catheters
An antimicrobial medical device for use during the placement of a catheter. The antimicrobial medical device includes a tubular body configured to receive the catheter through a lumen of the tubular body during an intravascular procedure and wall of the tubular body forms a liner between catheter and the patient's skin. The device further includes an antimicrobial material coupled with the tubular body so that in use the antimicrobial material inhibits microbe growth at the insertion site.

Pump cassette and methods for use in medical treatment system using a plurality of fluid lines
A fluid handling cassette, such as that useable with an automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) cycler device or other infusion apparatus, may include a generally planar body having at least one pump chamber formed as a depression in a first side of the body and a plurality of flowpaths for a fluid that includes a channel. A patient line port may be arranged for connection to a patient line and be in fluid communication with the at least one pump chamber via at least a first one of said flowpaths, and an optional membrane may be attached to the first side of the body over the at least one pump chamber. In one embodiment, the membrane may have a pump chamber portion with an unstressed shape that generally conforms to the depression of the at least one pump chamber in the body and is arranged to be movable for movement of the fluid in a useable space of the at least one pump chamber. One or more spacers may be provided in the at least one pump chamber to prevent the membrane from contacting an inner wall of the at least one pump chamber. The patient line, a drain line, and/or a heater bag line may be positioned to be separately occludable in relation to one or more solution lines that are connectable to the cassette.
APPARATUSES AND METHODS FOR NEGATIVE PRESSURE WOUND THERAPY
Disclosed herein are several embodiments of a negative pressure appliance and methods of using the same in the treatment of wounds. Some embodiments are directed to improved fluidic connectors or suction adapters for connecting to a wound site, for example using softer, kink-free conformable suction adapters.
BARRIER KIT FOR AN ENDOTRACHEAL TUBE WITH SEALING COVER COUPLED TO THE CLAMP WITH VARIOUS STAGES FOR ADJUSTING THE DEGREE OF OCCLUSION FOR USE IN ADVANCED AIRWAY MANAGEMENT PROCEDURES
The present invention applies to tubes and probes and catheters for invasive airway management, more specifically to a kit comprising two devices for sealing the tubes and/or probes and/or endotracheal catheters for gases, aerosols, droplets and secretions from patients. The present invention describes an Endotracheal Tube Barrier Kit with sealing cap attached to a clamp for use in advanced airway management procedures consisting of two devices, one for sealing and one for “clamping” the tube, coupled together. The kit consists of the following components: sealing device and occluder clamp. Illustratively, to understand more clearly the use of the Barrier Kit, the tube devices, connector and guide wire are also shown.

SINGLE USE CAPS AND COVERS FOR VASCULAR ACCESS DEVICES, AND KITS AND METHODS FOR USING THE SAME
This invention concerns improved single use caps or covers for vascular access devices such as needlefree connectors that are used, for example, in intravenous administration sets and extension sets. Removal of a single use cap or cover according to the invention from a vascular access device destroys the cap such that it cannot be reused. Such single use caps and covers will help ensure compliance with infection prevention protocols in healthcare settings, which will assist in reducing the incidence of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs), particularly catheter-related blood stream infections. Assemblies and kits its including such caps and covers, for example, IV administration and extension sets that include one or more needlefree connectors, as well as methods for using such caps and covers, are also described.
