RFID TAG ENABLED NEEDLE SHIELD
The present invention relates to an RDID tag enabled needle shield assembly that provides a sterile enclosure of an injection needle and that can be fixedly attached to a pre-filled syringe for administering an injection of medicament to a patient after removal of the needle shield assembly. The RFID tag is fixedly attached to the needle shield through co-molding or another form of permanent attachment. The present invention also relates to a method of tracking the life cycle of a medicament injection device where the RFID tag enabled needle shield assembly is attached to an injection needle that is connected to a syringe barrel that is part of an injection device. Data is written to or read from the RFID tag during the entire life cycle of the injection device, including assembly, packaging, storing, distribution and use.
INTERCHANGEABLE LOCKABLE CATHETER
The present invention relates to a novel interchangeable lockable catheter having a cap, the cap locking onto a junction hub or base, and encasing at least one lumen proximally to the junction hub of a multi-lumen catheter, PICC line and the like. The interchangeable lockable catheter's cap and base may be made of more than one piece, and provide a locking mechanism sufficient to deter tampering, while providing a low profile, comfortable, sanitary, and efficient means of closing off lumens for patients leaving the treatment area.

Radio Frequency Identification (RFID) Inlays for Use with Medical Injection Devices
A tip cap assembly for coupling with a syringe body includes a luer lock adaptor, a rigid cap coupled to the luer lock adaptor; a rigid tip cap having distal end and proximal ends, the rigid tip cap being disposed at least partially within the rigid cap, a RFID tag positioned over the distal end of the tip cap, and an adhesive layer formed over the RFID tag. Also provided is RFID inlay for use with medical devices including a meshed substrate, and a RFID antenna and integrated circuit assembly adhered to the meshed substrate. A syringe and label assembly is disclosed, including a body having distal and proximal ends, a tip cap assembly having distal end and proximal ends, and a label at least partially surrounding the distal end of the syringe body and the proximal end of the tip cap, the label comprises an integrated RFID tag.
SINGLE USE DISPOSABLE TIME INDICATION DEVICES
An IV disposable time indication device includes one of a tube and a slot containing a volume of gel, wherein the gel is configured to evaporate at a determined rate of time upon activation by exposure to ambient air. A seal is configured to prevent contact of the gel with ambient air. One or more time indicators are disposed on the device, wherein evaporation of the gel is configured to provide a visual indication of a passage of time after activation. Methods of operating an IV disposable time indication device are also provided.
COVER FOR USE WITH SHEATH HUB AND DILATOR HUB
A snap-fit cover is configured to snap fit to a dilator hub. The snap-fit cover is also configured to snap fit to the sheath-hub cap of the sheath hub.
