CONNECTOR SET AND FEMALE CONNECTOR
A connector set includes a male connector; and a female connector. The male connector includes: a hollow rod-shaped flow path connection portion that defines a first flow path therein and that has a first axis as a center, and a lock protrusion that has an inner peripheral edge extending in a circumferential direction around the first axis. The female connector includes: a cap, a housing, and a valve body. The cap includes: a top wall, and a cylindrical outer peripheral wall extending from an outer peripheral edge of the top wall and that has a second axis as a center. The housing includes: a cylindrical wall, and an engagement protrusion protruding from an outer peripheral surface of the cylindrical wall so as to form a lower surface configured to engage with the lock protrusion to lock the male connector.

SINGLE USE SAFETY CAP FOR USE WITH NEEDLELESS CONNECTORS
A safety cap for use with a needleless connector. The safety cap includes a body configured to at least partially enclose a head of the needleless connector (NC). The body is configured to achieve a first configuration that can be securely sealed to the NC and a second configuration that cannot be securely sealed to the NC. The second configuration is different from the first configuration. The safety cap also includes a detent in communication with the body which is configured to prevent the body from transitioning from the second configuration back to the first configuration.

Device for preventing contamination of positive-pressure connector of indwelling needle and method based on same
A device for preventing contamination of a positive-pressure connector (6) of an indwelling needle and a method based on same. The device comprises a shell (1), a connecting port (3) fixedly connected to the shell (1) and used for connecting to the positive-pressure connector (6), an air pressure balance hole (5) disposed opposite to the connecting port (3) and provided on the shell (1), and a filtering membrane (2) provided between the air pressure balance hole (5) and the connecting port (3). The device is simple in structure, adopts a structural design of the filtering membrane (2), can filter microorganisms, bacteria, viruses, dusts, and particulate pollution sources, and is used during indwelling of infusion intervals to prevent the positive-pressure connector (6) from being exposed to the air and maintain the aseptic state and positive-pressure condition of the positive-pressure connector (6) during indwelling.

Medical Device Package With Flip Cap Having a Snap Fit
A package for a medical device such as an intermittent catheter has a case with open and closed ends. A hinge connects a cap to the case to permit movement of the cap between open and closed positions. A seal connected to one of the cap and case is engageable with the other to maintain a sterile environment inside the package. The seal can be repeatedly made and broken whenever the user closes or opens the cap. The case includes a pair of slots at the open end. A pair of latches is formed in the cap. The latches fit into the slots to prevent lateral forces from distorting the cap when the cap is closed. A first use indication label spans a depression in the outer contour of a closed cap and case, assuring visual confirmation of breach of the label upon first opening of the cap.
