In another aspect, a tire includes the tire sensor fixedly attached in a screwing manner therein for detecting tire conditions.

A method and a related station for applying a sensing device to a tyre are described. A tape-shaped support with removably fixed sensing devices is advanced, to feed the sensing devices in sequence. A handling device is then rigidly coupled to a sensing device, maintaining at least a portion of an adhesion surface of the sensing device removably fixed to a support. The sensing device is then completely separated from the support, taken away by the handling device, and applied to an inner surface of a tyre by the handling device.

The interior surfaces (14, 15) of these elements define a volume (13) able to accommodate the electronic member (100). The base (11) has an opening (18) via which the electronic member is introduced so that when the base (11) is secured to the wall of the tire, the opening (18) is closed by the wall of the tire. The securing device (10) is such that the retaining wall (12) is able to be torn in order to form a fault that allows the electronic member to be extracted and inserted, and such that the retaining wall (12) has a retaining device (19) for a clamping system (20) for clamping the retaining wall (12).

A width of the membrane body is less than 120% of a width of a tread of the tire. A length of the membrane body is less than 50% of a circumference of the tire.
