Provided is an attaching device and a method for attaching a band-like member to a tire inner surface. A holder that holds the band-like member in a wound state and a paddle are disposed in an inner portion of a tire, and a dispensed portion is pressure-bonded to the inner surface by repeatedly performing: a bonding operation in which a predetermined length dispensed from the band-like member in a wound state toward the inner surface is pressed, by moving the paddle close to the inner surface with no relative rotation of the tire in the circumferential direction with respect to the holder, and is pressure-bonded to the inner surface and a dispensing operation in which, after the bonding operation, the paddle is moved away from the inner surface, and together with relatively rotating the tire in the circumferential direction, a new dispensed portion is formed.

Disclosed are an aging-resistant rubber composition and a processing method therefor and use thereof. The rubber composition includes a rubber matrix and compounding components, and in parts by weight, every 100 parts of said rubber matrix comprise 50-99 parts of a halogenated butyl rubber, 0-50 parts of a highly branched polyethylene P1, and 0-50 parts of P2 obtained by the polarization modification of said highly branched polyethylene P1, and the sum of P1 and P2 in parts by weight is 1-50 parts; and said compounding components comprise a vulcanization system. The rubber composition improves the heat aging resistance of the halogenated butyl rubber, making it more suitable for high temperature environments, and also improves the properties of the halogenated butyl rubber which are related to the halogen content, such as the adhesiveness, oil resistance, flame retardancy and the like, by adjusting the extent of halogenation of the highly branched polyethylene which is employed in combination, thereby overcoming the limitation caused by the halogen content of the halogenated butyl rubber.

Tire tread monitoring systems and tire tread monitoring sensors are disclosed. In one embodiment, a tire tread monitoring sensor is disclosed that includes a sensor housing having communication circuitry disposed therein; a sensor flange that is disposed adjacent the sensor housing, the sensor flange being manufactured from a flexible or semi-flexible material; and a sensor post having one or more sensor leads, the one or more sensor leads being in signal communication with the communication circuitry. When the one or more sensor leads are worn down to a predetermined dimension, a continuity measurement indicates a change in state that is interpreted by the communication circuitry as a signal representative of the tire wear status of a tire as monitored by the tire tread monitoring sensor. Methods of installing, manufacturing and using the aforementioned systems and sensors are also disclosed.
