Method for producing webs for reinforcement ply of a tire by butt-joining straight-wire strips
The present invention relates to a method for manufacturing webs (1) that are intended to be involved in the makeup of a reinforcing ply (2) for a pneumatic tyre (20), said method comprising a preparation step (a), during which a plurality of straight-thread strips (7, 107, 207), which are each formed of a plurality of continuous reinforcing threads (4) that are embedded in a layer of rubber (5), are prepared, a butt-joining step (b), during which said straight-thread strips (7, 107, 207) are butt-joined in pairs to form a straight-thread ply (3), then a cutting step (c), during which the straight-thread ply (3) is inserted into a cutter (8) and the straight-thread ply (3) is severed transversely so as to form webs, wherein, in said method, the frontal width (W3) of the straight-thread ply (3) that is produced during the butt-joining step (b) and then inserted into the cutter (8) is equal to or greater than 50%, equal to or greater than 75%, equal to or greater than 80%, or even equal to or greater than 90%, of the cutter inlet width (W8), whereas the widest frontal width (W7, W107, W207) of the straight-thread strips is less than or equal to 50%, less than or equal to 40%, less than or equal to 25%, less than or equal to 10%, or even less than or equal to 5%, of said cutter inlet width (W8).
Winding method and winding device of sheet-like belt
A winding method includes: attracting a sheet-like belt 8b onto a table 14 by multiple attracting means 15 lined up in a longitudinal direction of the sheet-like belt 8b; and winding the sheet-like belt 8b around a winding cylinder 50 by moving the winding cylinder 50 in the longitudinal direction of the sheet-like belt 8b while rotating the winding cylinder 50 above the sheet-like belt 8b and by cancelling attraction by the attracting means 15 one after another from attracting means 15 to which the winding cylinder 50 has moved.

Wire coat rubber composition for a tire and a tire comprising a wire coat rubber composition
In accordance with the invention a wire coat rubber composition for a tire comprises from 70 phr to 100 phr of cis 1,4-polyisoprene rubber, from 0 phr to 30 phr of solution styrene butadiene rubber, from 65 phr to 95 phr pre-silanized precipitated silica, from 0.1 phr to 5 phr of a cobalt salt, up to 15 phr carbon black, up to 10 phr of a resin, and up to 10 phr oil. Further the present invention is directed to a tire comprising such a wire coat composition.
Ply coat rubber composition and a tire comprising a ply coat rubber composition
In accordance with the invention, a ply coat rubber composition for a tire ply comprises from 60 phr to 90 phr of natural rubber, from 10 phr to 40 phr of synthetic polyisoprene, from 30 phr to 80 phr of pre-silanized and precipitated silica, from 0.1 phr to 5 phr of a cobalt salt, up to 15 phr of carbon black, up to 5 phr of resin, and up to 8 phr of oil. Moreover, the invention is directed to a tire comprising such a rubber composition.
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A REINFORCEMENT STRUCTURE FOR A TIRE
The reinforcing structure for a tire is in the form of a stratified assembly formed of two layers of reinforcing strips of completely connected cross section, and flattened in shape. According to the method, the strips of each layer are laid side by side in a main direction of laying. The strips of the first layer are spaced apart by a distance that is less than the width of the strips of the second layer and in such a way that the edges of the strips of the first layer overlap the edges of the strips of the second layer. The two layers of strips are separated by a layer of uncoupling rubber.

Manufacturing method and manufacturing device of tire belt
A manufacturing method includes cutting out a sheet-like belt for one full circle of tire by cutting a master roll diagonally with respect to a longitudinal direction between a master roll table 10 and a belt table 14, moving the belt table 14 carrying the cut-out sheet-like belt to a winding position of the sheet-like belt, winding the sheet-like belt around a winding cylinder 50 at the winding position, and unwinding the sheet-like belt from the winding cylinder 50 in a place facing a molding drum 64 and forming a cylindrical belt by winding the sheet-like belt around the molding drum 64.

Winding method and winding cylinder of sheet member
In a winding method of a sheet member for winding a sheet member having an inclined side portion 7a inclined with respect to a longitudinal direction at least on one side in the longitudinal direction around a winding cylinder 50 in more than one turn from a tip end of the inclined side portion 7a as a winding start tip, winding of the sheet member is started in a small-diameter portion 51a of the winding cylinder 50 to which a radial difference is given by providing a step 54 to make a diameter smaller on one side in an axial direction and larger on the other side in the axial direction.
