ROTATABLE MIDSOLE AMBULATORY FOOTWEAR APPARATUS
A footwear apparatus includes a primary outsole having a primary cavity, a secondary outsole connected to the primary, outsole and having a secondary cavity, a midsole movably disposed over the primary outsole and secondary outsole including a primary protrusion extending at least partially within the primary cavity, and a tertiary outsole disposed about the primary protrusion. The footwear apparatus defines a z-axis through the secondary cavity and substantially normal to a ground surface, a y-axis extending substantially from the secondary cavity to the primary cavity, and an x-axis substantially normal to a plane created by the z-axis and the y-axis. The midsole is configured to rotate substantially about the x-axis, rotate substantially about the y-axis, to resist rotation substantially about the z-axis. The footwear apparatus is adaptive to a around surface orientation on which the wearer walks and to rotational movements of the wearers body.
METHOD FOR FORMING A FOOTWEAR MIDSOLE
Methods and systems are provided for forming an article of footwear. In one example, forming the article of footwear includes using a perforated last during molding of a midsole of the article of footwear. The midsole may be attached to a seam of the upper of the article footwear to secure the midsole to the upper.
SHOE WITH UPPER AT LEAST PARTIALLY RENDERED IMPERMEABLE
A shoe with an upper that is at least partially rendered impermeable, including a sole; an insole; an upper assembly, which at least comprises a breathable lining, a breathable upper, and, interposed between at least part thereof, a layer that is waterproof and is fixed hermetically below the insole, the upper assembly being associated with the insole; and a region providing a waterproof seal of the insole to the sole, the sealing region substantially surrounding the breathable or perforated portion that is free for perspiration.
INJECTION-MOLDING METHOD
The invention concerns a method of producing an article of footwear comprising: providing an upper; providing a mold and opening the mold; inserting the upper into the open mold; closing the mold; and injecting a pressurized molten resin, wherein, after the injecting, there is a gap filled with the resin between a side wall of the mold and an outer surface of at least a first portion of the upper, wherein the gap is essentially zero at a contacting point, wherein the gap increases gradually from the contacting point in at least a first region of the mold.
FOOTWEAR WITH PADDING AND MIDSOLE STRUCTURES AND THE METHOD OF MAKING THE SAME
A method of manufacturing an article of footwear includes positioning an upper on a last that defines openings connected by one or more channels in the last, injecting a material through the one or more channels in the last, and forming a structure on the upper with the material.
ITEM OF FOOTWEAR FOR MAGNETOTHERAPY
An item of footwear for magnetotherapy comprises a lower sole in which there is defined a tread surface, an intermediate container which can be received in an opening which is defined in the lower sole, a magnetic field generator, a control unit, a battery, an inner sole which is or can be placed over the intermediate container and a vamp structure which is connected to the lower sole. The intermediate container is produced from material having greater rigidity with respect to the lower sole and comprises respective recesses which are intended to receive the magnetic field generator, the control unit and the battery, respectively.
Mould and method for producing footwear
A mould for producing footwear by direct injection onto an upper of a sole, including a tread and a midsole, wherein the midsole is composed of a first layer and a second layer. The mould includes a base, a pair of first half-rings, a lid, a pair of second half-rings and a mould last. The first half-rings are designed to be arranged close together such that they abut against the base and against the lid, so as to form a first mould cavity for moulding the first layer (6) of the midsole. While the first half-rings are abutting against the base, the second half-rings are designed to be arranged close together, such that they lie over the half-rings and abut against the upper, fitted onto the mould last, so as to form a second mould cavity for moulding the second layer of the midsole. The first half-rings are provided with guiding means so that they can be moved away from and towards each other and rotate about an axis of rotation. Also a method for producing footwear by direct injection onto an upper, which may be performed by means of the mould.
DIRECT BOTTOMED ARTICLE OF FOOTWEAR WITH A FILM MOLD
An article of footwear has an upper that is direct attached with the sole in a article of footwear mold. The sole has a film extending up sidewalls of the sole to a film edge that is prior to the sidewall and the upper joining. Method of manufacture of the article of footwear includes steps of positioning a film over a mold cavity and then securing the film to the mold. The film is heated and then drawn into the mold cavity under a vacuum. The film forms a liner of the mold cavity. A foam composition is injected into the lined mold cavity. As the foam composition expands, the foam composition interacts with and mechanically engages with the upper that is poisoned at the mold cavity to allow for the mechanical engagement that results in the direct attach of the sole to the upper.
FOOTWEAR MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR INJECTION-MOLDING
Tooling and components of an injection-molding system may be used to mold a foam article. The tooling and components may include features that control parameters of the injection-molding and foaming process, such as temperature, pressure, shot size, shot placement, and the like.
FOOTWEAR MOLD SYSTEM FOR INJECTION-MOLDING
Tooling and components of an injection-molding system may be used to mold a foam article. The tooling and components may include features that control parameters of the injection-molding and foaming process, such as temperature, pressure, shot size, shot placement, and the like.
