Method of making a retort container
10569324 · 2020-02-25 · ·

A method is described for making a retort container having one or two metal ends. A heat-sealable material is present on one or both of the container side wall and the/each metal end. The/each metal end is seamed onto the container body, and the resulting container assembly is conveyed on a conveyor adjacent to an induction sealing head and then adjacent to a cooling device. A pressure belt engages the upper end of the container assembly to keep the metal end from coming off the container body during the induction heating and cooling processes.

METHOD FOR FABRICATING MULTI-COLOR CELLULOSE ACETATE SPECTACLE FRAME

A method for fabricating a multi-color cellulose acetate spectacle frame, which includes: baking a multi-color cellulose acetate sheet so that it is soften; pressing so as to enable the second, third, and fourth color layers of the multi-color cellulose acetate sheet to move a distance greater than the thickness of a surface color layer of the multi-color cellulose acetate sheet; grinding off or shaving off a surface layer of the excessively moved portion so that the color of a middle layer is highlighted; baking the multi-color cellulose acetate sheet again so that it is soften; pressing so that the color of the middle layer is highlighted to the surface of the spectacle frame. According to the method for fabricating the multi-color cellulose acetate spectacle frame, the working processes are saved, and the qualification rate of product is improved.

Full-frame adhesive anti-fog film structure

The present invention is to provide a full-frame adhesive anti-fog film structure, comprising: an anti-fog film, which has a front side and a back side opposing the front side; and an adhesive, which is disposed at an edge of the back side and arranged along the edge so as to be frame-shaped. The anti-fog film of the present invention is attachable to a planar, cylindrical or spherical lens through the full frame-shaped adhesive so that not only can the anti-fog film be fully attached to the lens but the full attachment of film also prevents bubbles from forming between the two attached surfaces. Also, an airtight space is formed between the full-frame adhesive anti-fog film structure and the lens to stop heat transfer and prevent fog from being formed, so as to not only provide good vision to users but also reduce the chance that the user will fall prey to an accident if the user's view is blocked.

Lyocell material for tobacco filter and method for preparing same

Anti-fog compositions comprising a primary film having opposing major planar surfaces and a central coplanar region, and processes for making such anti-fog compositions. The central coplanar region is disposed between the opposing major planar surfaces. The primary film comprises cellulose acetate, plasticizer, and an anti-blocking agent. The anti-blocking agent has an average particle size ranging from 0.02 microns to 6 microns. The cellulose acetate has a degree of substitution that increases from the opposing major planar surfaces toward the central coplanar region or that is substantially constant throughout the thickness of the composition. The composition is formed by saponifying a precursor film to improve hydrophilicity.

Anti-fog compositions comprising a primary film having opposing major planar surfaces and a central coplanar region disposed between the opposing major planar surfaces and comprising cellulose acetate and a plasticizer. The cellulose acetate may have a degree of substitution less than 2.6. The plasticizer may be selected from the group consisting of 1,2,3-triacetoxypropane (triacetin), tributyl citrate, triethyl citrate, triphenyl phosphate, tris(clorisopropyl)phosphate, dimethyl phthalate, diethyl phthalate, bornan-2-one, PEG-DGE, PPG-DGE, tributyl phosphate, and combinations thereof. The primary film has a thickness greater than 90 microns.

Biodegradable drinking straws and methods of making biodegradable drinking straws. The drinking straws are thin and functional, having a tactile feel similar to conventional drinking straws, and are biodegradable in 12 months or less. The drinking straws use less material while maintaining high thickness uniformity, reducing cost and increasing structural integrity.

THREE-DIMENSIONAL POROUS NANOCOMPOSITE COOLING FILM AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME
20240076237 · 2024-03-07 ·

Disclosed is a method for preparing a three-dimensional porous nano composite cooling film in large scale. The cooling film is prepared from 0.1-0.5 parts of cellulose acetate, 1-5 parts of water, 20-100 parts of acetone, an additive, and 10-20 parts of nano microspheres through a cooperative formulation of cellulose acetate, nano microsphere materials and the additive. The composite cooling film is obtained by self-deposition of cellulose acetate and nano microspheres, and liquid volatilization during film forming process leads to formation of the three-dimensional porous structure. The film has an effect of enhancing radiation of infrared heat into space, which could significantly reduce a temperature of a substrate surface and achieve rapid and strong cooling. The film could achieve effective cooling without external power and other active cooling equipment, with or without sunlight.
