A composite structural article (100) includes a polymeric body (35) having a first major surface (24) and an opposing second major surface (22) and a rib element (30) extending away from the first major surface. A reinforcing member (10) is embedded within a free end portion (34) of the rib member (30). The reinforcing member includes an elongated polymer rod having a rod length and a plurality of co-extending continuous fibers (20), embedded and distributed within the elongated polymer rod. The fibers are under tension and may have a helical or twisted configuration along the rod length.

The present invention is directed to a polypropylene composition (P) comprising a copolymer (C) of propylene and 1-hexene comprising a first random propylene copolymer (A) of propylene and a 1-hexene, and a second random propylene copolymer (B) of propylene and 1-hexene having a higher 1-hexene content than the first random propylene copolymer (A) as well as a plastomer (PL) being an elastomeric copolymer of ethylene and at least one C.sub.4 to C.sub.10 α-olefin. Further, the present invention is directed to an article comprising said polypropylene composition (P) and the use of said polypropylene composition (P) as a sealing layer in a multi-layer film.

The present disclosure relates to a method for producing a decorated wall or floor panel, comprising the method steps: a) providing a first molten polymer mass and a second molten polymer mass; b) extruding the molten polymer masses, wherein in particular each polymer mass is extruded by a separate extruder, wherein the molten polymer masses are layered on top of each other; c) expelling the layered molten polymer masses through a die; d) calibrating the layered molten polymer masses in order to form a plate-shaped carrier comprising at least one carrier layer comprising the first polymer mass and a sealable layer contacting the carrier layer and comprising the second polymer mass. Furthermore, the disclosure relates to plate-shaped carriers and decorative panels produced in this way, and to a device for carrying out the method.
MULTILAYER POLYPROYLENE FILM
Multilayer film comprising at least a skin layer, a core layer and an inner layer, the skin layer comprising a homo polypropylene or a random propylene ethylene copolymer including up to 2.5 wt.-% units derived from ethylene, the homopolypropylene or the random propylene ethylene copolymer having a MFR2 (ISO1 133, 230° C.) of 2.0 to 20 g/10 min and a melting temperature (Tm) of above 148° C. measured by DSC according to ISO 11357-3:1999 and a scan rate of 10° C./min; the core layer comprising a mixture obtainable by melt blending 20 to 100 wt.-% of a random heterophasic copolymer and 0 to 80 wt.-% of styrene based TPE, whereby the random heterophasic copolymer has a melting temperature (Tm) of 134° C.-148° C. measured by DSC according to ISO 11357-3:1999 and a scan rate of 10° C./min and includes a propylene ethylene copolymer rubber; and whereby the styrene based TPE has a styrene content of from 5 to 20 wt.-%, and the inner layer comprising a random propylene ethylene copolymer having a melting temperature (Tm) from 132° C. to 144° C. measured by DSC according to ISO 11357-3:1999 and a scan rate of 10° C./min, wherein the multilayer film is free of phthalic acid esters as well as decomposition products thereof.
