Method of assembling two pieces of different materials and assembly resulting from the method of assembling
A method of assembling a first part made from a metal and a second part includes providing a first part comprising an assembly surface, and a second part comprising at least one through orifice. At least part of the second part is arranged on the assembly surface such that the orifice extends across from the assembly surface. A metal connecting part is positioned on the orifice to cover the orifice across from the assembly surface. The connecting part and/or the assembly surface are projected on one another to obtain high-speed plating and welding between the connecting part and the surface part.

SINTERABLE SEPARATION MATERIAL IN ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING
According to one aspect, embodiments of the invention provide a method of 3D printing, comprising depositing a model material in successive layers to form a part, the model material being a metal composite including greater than 50% by volume metal powder and less than 50% by volume a first removable binder, depositing the model material in successive layers to form a support structure adjacent the part, depositing a sinterable separation material between a surface of the part and a surface of the support structure, the sinterable separation material formed from 10-40% by volume ceramic powder and greater than 50% by volume a second removable binder, debinding the first removable binder of the model material and the second removable binder of the sinterable separation material, and sintering the part, the support structure, and the sinterable separation material at a temperature profile that sinters the model material and the sinterable separation material.
DIP MOLDING COMPOSITION, METHOD OF PRODUCING GLOVE, AND GLOVE
Provided is, a glove production method including: (1) the step of immersing a glove forming mold in a liquid coagulant containing calcium ions so as to allow the coagulant to adhere to the glove forming mold; (2) the dispersion step of leaving a dip molding composition to stand with stirring; (3) the dipping step; (4) the gelling step; (5) the leaching step; (6) the beading step; (7) the precuring step; and (8) the curing step, in which method the steps (3) to (8) are performed in the order mentioned, and the dip molding composition has a specific formulation.
APPARATUS FOR STERILIZED WELDING
Systems and methods are disclosed that include generating a plasma treatment and applying the plasma treatment to end contact surfaces of a first profile and a second profile in a sterile environment, manipulating at least one of the first profile and the second profile to force contact between the end contact surface of the first profile and the end contact surface of the second profile to permanently connect, join, or weld the end contact surfaces of the first profile and the second profile together, thereby forming a sterile connection between the first profile and a second profile.

IMPLANTABLE MEDICAL DEVICE WITH METAL AND POLYMER HOUSING
In some examples, manufacturing techniques for implantable medical devices are described. An example method may including positioning a metal housing component adjacent to a polymer housing component so that there is an interface between the metal housing component and the polymer housing component; and forming a seal at the interface between the metal housing component and the polymer housing component to join the metal housing component and the polymer housing component, wherein the joined metal housing component and the polymer housing component form at least a portion of housing for the implantable medical device, wherein the housing of the implantable medical device contains electronic circuitry.

METHOD OF JOINING TWO OBJECTS
A method for joining two objects by anchoring an insert portion provided on one of the objects in an opening provided on the other one of the objects. The anchorage is achieved by liquefaction of a thermoplastic material and interpenetration of the liquefied material and a penetrable material, the two materials being arranged on opposite surfaces of the insert portion and the wall of the opening. Before such liquefaction and interpenetration, an interference fit is established in which such opposite surfaces are pressed against each other, and, for the anchoring, mechanical vibration energy and possibly a shearing force are applied, wherein the shearing force puts a shear stress on the interference fit.
