The multi-layer article is folded upon itself in the first non-active state so that at least a first portion of the second side of the upper layer is disposed on a top of a second portion of the second side of the upper layer, and the first portion and the second portion of the upper layer are heat sealed in the non-active state.

Personal Care Product And A Method For Making A Personal Care Product By An Additive Process

Methods for making a personal care product and a personal care product are provided. In one example, the method includes forming a first layer by an additive process. The first layer has a first composition that includes at least one filler component selected from the group of starch, bulking agent salt, granular acid, clay mineral, sorbitol, silica, titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide. A binder is applied to the first layer. A second layer is formed by the additive process overlying the binder. The second layer has a second composition that includes at least one filler component selected from the group of starch, bulking agent slat, granular acid, clay mineral, sorbitol, silica, titanium dioxide, and zinc oxide. At least one of the first composition and the second composition further includes at least one surfactant.

Packaging films, and methods of preparation thereof

A packaging film is provided. The packaging film includes a polymer matrix composed of poly (butylene succinate) (PBS), and a modified tapioca starch (TPS), where a weight ratio (w/w) of the PBS to the TPS is in a range of 3:2 to 2:3. The packaging film also includes an antimicrobial composite including an organometallic compound dispersed within the polymer matrix. The packaging film has a water vapor permeability in a range of 94,000-95,000 micrometer gram per second per square meter per pascal (g.Math.μm/m.sup.2.Math.s.Math.Pa). A method to prepare the packaging film is also disclosed. The packaging films of the present disclosure prevent or inhibit the growth of gram-positive bacteria and gram-negative bacteria, particularly on food surfaces.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING ANTIBACTERIAL COPPER NANOFIBER BY INJECTION MOLDING
20220098764 · 2022-03-31 · ·

A method for manufacturing an antibacterial copper nanofiber by injection molding includes the following steps: raw material mixing operation: mixing dry copper nanopowder having an averaged particle size of not more than 48 nm with a fiber raw material to form a mixed raw material; and injection molding operation, including plasticization, filling, pressurization, cooling, ejection, and product injection. Finally, an antibacterial copper nanofiber injection product is obtained. Or in the raw material mixing operation, after mixing a dry copper nanopowder having an averaged particle size of not more than 48 nm with a fiber raw material to form a mixed raw material, mixing and granulating operation can be added, including heating, blending, extruding and granulating the mixed raw material through a mixer, and then melting to form a plurality of antibacterial copper nano-masterbatches; and then injection molding operation is performed to obtain an antibacterial copper nanofiber injection product.

Systems, devices, and methods for inkjet-based three-dimensional printing

Devices and methods are described that provide printing of three-dimensional objects using reactive materials such as materials that result in a polyurethane formulation. Three-dimensional printing in accordance with the present disclosure can be performed using an inkjet printer or other systems that deposit or dispense material. A formulation made up of two or more reactive materials and, optionally, one or more UV-curable materials is also provided. The materials can be jetted based on a desired configuration to achieve a maximum reaction between materials, and can be based on desired jetting or molar ratios. By heating or applying energy on the jetted materials, their reaction and related solidifying can be accelerated. Corrective printing is also provided for, and can be used at desired intervals to eliminate printing errors relative to the object as modeled. Systems and methods used in conjunction with all of the same are provided.
