Multidimensional image reproduction technique
The instant invention is related to a method for replicating an object. The method includes providing an object comprising an outer surface and a channel; applying dry tannin powder to the outer surface of the object wherein at least a portion of the dry tannin powder adheres to the outer surface as imaging tannin; and placing an aqueous solution of an iron salt in the channel wherein the iron salt diffuses through the object to convert said imaging tannin into a replica of the object.
Polymer interlayers comprising special effect metal pigments
An interlayer comprised of a thermoplastic resin and at least one special effect metal pigment. The use of a thermoplastic resin and at least one special effect metal pigment provides a special effect metal appearance without sacrificing other characteristics of the interlayer, and wherein the color of the interlayer measured in reflectance mode is different from the color measured in transmission mode.
Silicone chew toy
A chew toy product is made of multiple layers of silicone. Liquid silicone layers are vulcanized to a solid silicone layer to form a unitary solid silicone chew toy. Each of the layers can include a silicone colorant, so the chew toy can have multiple colors.
Manufacturing process of a product based on cellulose acetate with blended colour
A manufacturing process and the semi-finished product of thermoplastic material obtained therefrom, for obtaining products with aesthetic patterns which can be perceived in semitransparency also in depth is disclosed. The process includes: (i) producing at least two initial elements of thermoplastic material with even but different aesthetic patterns, having a different concentration of the dominating coloring, at least the dominating coloring being of the bleeding type in the specific thermoplastic material; (ii) shaping the two initial elements into strips or loaves being of a submultiple width, not below ⅕ of a characteristic dimension of the desired finished product; (iii) inserting at least two of the strips or loaves having different concentration of the dominating coloring, into a workform, arranging them side by side according to a direction of side-by-side arrangement; and (iv) undergoing pressure and heat to allow the melting and hardening of the thermoplastic material into a single body.
MULTILAYER FILM AND IMPLEMENTATIONS THEREOF
The present disclosure discloses a multilayer film comprising: (a) at least one print layer (102); (b) at least one tie layer (104); (c) at least one second tie layer (108); and (d) at least one sealant layer (110), wherein the multilayer film comprises at least one polyethylene having a weight percentage in the range of 80-95% with respect to the multilayer film, and a density in the range of 0.941-0.99 gm/cm.sup.3. Also disclosed herein is a process of manufacturing a multilayer film.
Light Diffusion Plate And Method For Manufacturing The Same
A light diffusion plate is configured to be assembled with a blue light source module having blue Mini LEDs to form a white light backlight module. The light diffusion plate is added with organic dyes with light-emission wavelength of 490-650 nm in order to convert the blue light into white light. The light diffusion plate is made by a foaming extrusion process and contains a plurality of micro-bubbles with a size of 60-400 μm and a weight-reduction ratio of 15-25% for improving the uniformity of white light and resolving the MURA problem. The size of micro-bubbles is controlled by reducing the temperature of at the exit end of the T-die head, such that the wavelength of the white light emitted from the light diffusion plate can be narrower to achieve the effect of wider color gamut display.
Method of Adhering and Conveyor Belt
A method for adhering together rubbers to be adhered including a rubber composition containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X1), and carbon black (Y1), using a rubber for adhesion including a rubber composition containing an ethylene-α-olefin copolymer, an organic peroxide (X2), and carbon black (Y2) at an adhesive interface, wherein contents of the organic peroxide (X1) in the rubber to be adhered and the organic peroxide (X2) in the rubber for adhesion are predetermined contents, and a content ratio (X2/X1) of the organic peroxide (X2) to the organic peroxide (X1) is from 1.20 to 2.00.
3-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING
The present disclosure is drawn to coalescent inks and material sets for 3D printing. The coalescent ink can include an organic-soluble near-infrared dye having a peak absorption wavelength from 800 nm to 1400 nm. The coalescent ink can also in water and an organic co-solvent.
Bulked continuous carpet filament manufacturing from polytrimethylene terephthalate
A method of manufacturing bulked continuous carpet filament from polytrimethylene terephthalate (PTT) with polyethylene terephthalate (PET) comprises: (1) splitting the PTT stream extruded from the primary extruder into a number of polymer streams, each of the plurality of polymer streams having an associated spinning machine; (2) adding a colorant to each split polymer stream; (3) adding PET to the extruded polymer stream downstream of the primary extruder; (4) using one or more static mixing assemblies for each split polymer stream to substantially uniformly mix each split polymer stream and its respective colorant and PET; and (5) spinning each polymer stream with its substantially uniformly mixed colorant and any additives into BCF using the respective spinning machine.
RIBBON LIQUEFIER AND METHOD OF USE IN EXTRUSION-BASED DIGITAL MANUFACTURING SYSTEMS
A ribbon liquefier comprising an outer liquefier portion configured to receive thermal energy from a heat transfer component, and a channel at least partially defined by the outer liquefier portion, where the channel has dimensions that are configured to receive the ribbon filament, and where the ribbon liquefier is configured to melt the ribbon filament received in the channel to at least an extrudable state with the received thermal energy to provide a melt flow. The dimensions of the channel are further configured to conform the melt flow from an axially-asymmetric flow to a substantially axially-symmetric flow in an extrusion tip connected to the ribbon liquefier.
