A solid surface material apparatus and process is disclosed which comprises a first solid material comprising acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule configured in a sheet with at least one channel cut into the top surface of it and a second solid surface material comprising an acrylic modified polyester resin, at least one natural mineral filler, and at least one colorant and/or at least one granule which at least partially fills the at least one channel of the first solid surface material.

METHOD OF MANUFACTURING ELECTRICAL CABLE, AND RESULTING PRODUCT, WITH REDUCED REQUIRED INSTALLATION PULLING FORCE

Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

Methods of using an integrated surface stimulation device for wound therapy and infection control

The present invention provides a thin and flexible device and method of use thereof for wound treatment and infection control. The integrated surface stimulation device may comprise wireless stimulation system in a disposable and/or reusable flexible device for widespread use in multiple therapeutic applications. The invention would be situated on the skin surface of a patient and would be activated so as to reduce the overall occurrence of infections and/or increase wound healing rates. As provided, the device will comprise an integrated power supply and pre-programmable stimulator/control system on a flexible polymeric substrate layer with areas of stimulating electrodes, applied using techniques such as those found in additive manufacturing processes. The device is especially valuable in treating biofilm-based infections.

A method of printing a three dimensional article is provided wherein particles are bonded together with chemical bonds having a bond strength of at least 10 kJ/mol. In one aspect, kits for three dimensional printing are described herein. In some embodiments, a kit described herein comprises a substantially dry particulate material (20) comprising an insoluble filler having a first functional group on the surface of the insoluble filler; and a fluid binder material (26) comprising a multifunctional linker having a second functional group, wherein the insoluble filler is insoluble in the fluid binder material and wherein the first functional group and the second functional group can react with one another to form a covalent bond between the insoluble filler and the multi functional linker.

A PROCESS FOR PRODUCING A 3D OBJECT BY A FUSED FILAMENT FABRICATION PROCESS
20220332039 · 2022-10-20 ·

A process for producing a three-dimensional (3D) object by a fused filament fabrication process employing at least one filament and a three-dimensional (3D) extrusion printer. Within said process, the filament is first fed to a cooling device, where the filament is cooled down to a temperature of 20° C. or colder. Afterwards, the cooled-down filament is transported to a heating device located inside the printing head of the 3D extrusion printer, where the cooled-down filament is heated to a temperature, which is high enough to at least partially melt the filament. The heated filament is extruded through the nozzle of the printing head of the 3D extrusion printer in order to obtain an extruded strand, which in turn is used to form the respective 3D object in a layer by layer way. Further an apparatus is disclosed, to be used within such a fused filament fabrication process or 3D printing technology, respectively.
