11603155 · 2023-03-14 · ·

The invention relates to a bicycle saddle having a saddle shell, on the underside of which a frame is arranged. A saddle pad is arranged on the upper side of the saddle shell. According to the invention, the saddle pad has two padding elements for improved comfort, wherein in a preferred embodiment the inner padding element is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).

Skin foam-in-place foamed article and production method thereof
11633937 · 2023-04-25 · ·

There is provided a skin foam-in-place foamed article comprising a pad (15) and a bag-like outer material (20) covering the pad (15). The outer material (20) has a top layer (21) and a liner layer (22) made of a foamed resin. The liner layer (22) has a closed cell structure. A pad-side skin layer (27a) having a density higher than that of a bulk layer (26) is provided on the liner layer (22), on a side of the pad (15). A corona treatment is applied to the pad-side skin layer (27a).

Integrated fluid module and test device

An integrated testing device and fluid module are disclosed, as well as a method of manufacture. Fluid module contains a reservoir containing a test fluid, and a control vessel. The reservoir discharges test fluid into the control vessel, which discharges the test fluid in a controlled way to a test component.

LOAD-BEARING PLATE WITH CELLULAR STRUCTURE AND ITS MANUFACTURING PROCESS
20230124425 · 2023-04-20 ·

The subject of the invention is a support panel with cellular core structure and the manufacturing process for the support panel with cellular core structure which solve the technical problems of: facilitating the manufacture of the product, ensuring compactness of individual panels and manufacturing support panels with cellular structure (1) in a single step. The support plate with cellular structure (1) comprises at least the upper solid surface (2), the lower solid surface (3) and the cellular structure (4), whereby all of these components are made of any thermoplastic material; however, all of the components are made of the same material. The cellular structure (4) is constructed with energy directors (5) to prevent spacing between the cellular structure (4), the upper solid surface (2) and the lower solid surface (3). The pre-formed cellular core (4) is placed on the levelled thermoplastic material used to form the lower solid surface, after which the material is applied over the cellular core (4) up to the depth required to form the lateral surfaces and the upper solid surface (2). After heating and pressing the material, the support panel with cellular structure (1) is cooled under pressure, and then it is removed from the press mould.

Blow molding method, composite preform, composite container, inner label member, and plastic member

A composite preform including a preform and a plastic member in close contact with the outer surface of the preform is made by preparing the preform made of plastic material and arranging the plastic member to surround the outer surface of the preform. Subsequently, the composite preform is heated and inserted in a blow molding die and undergoes blow molding in the blow molding die, by which the preform and the plastic member of the composite preform are inflated integrally and a composite container is obtained.

Battery assembly including structural foamed materials

A battery assembly according to an exemplary aspect of the present disclosure includes, among other things, a battery array and a foam shell that surrounds the battery array.

Battery assembly including structural foamed materials

A battery assembly includes a battery array and a foam shell that surrounds the battery array. The battery array may be housed within a foam shell, and a barrier can be secured to the foam shell to establish a battery assembly. The battery assembly may then be secured to a vehicle body.

Athletic Band with Removable Module

A performance monitoring system includes an athletic band or other article of apparel worn by a user, with a pocket supported by the article and defining a cavity, where the pocket has a sensor opening extending through an inner wall of the pocket and an access opening providing access to the cavity. The system also includes an electronic module received in the cavity such that the module can be inserted and removed from the cavity through the access opening. The module has a projection on an underside of the electronic module and a sensor mounted on the projection, where the projection extends through the sensor opening when the electronic module is received in the cavity and is configured to place the sensor in close proximity to skin of the user, such that the sensor is configured to sense a physiological parameter of the user.

WIDE-NECKED CONTAINER HAVING AN ATTACHED THREADED SLEEVE
20170305591 · 2017-10-26 ·

A method for producing a container having a threaded wide neck, includes steps of: heating a preform having a polyester body, on which there is mounted a polyolefin sleeve positioned next to an area of the body corresponding to the wide neck of the container; introducing the heated preform, with the sleeve, into a mould having the footprint of the container, including a threaded area having the footprint of the wide neck; injecting a pressurised fluid into the preform in order to form a blank of the container including a lower portion including the wide neck with a thread formed in the sleeve and an upper portion above the wide neck; separating the upper portion from the lower portion that thus forms the container.

METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING A COMPOSITE PART AND USE THEREOF

For manufacturing composite parts (1) having an inner hollow moulded body (2) with openings (3), which are accessible from outside, the moulded body is introduced into a moulding tool on the mould walls on which a shell layer (11) was applied. The hollow space between the moulded body (2) and the shell layer (11) is filled with a thermally insulating plastic foam (12) which is foamed in the moulding tool and bonds to the moulded body and the shell layer. After removal, a moulded body is provided, which has a qualitatively good surface formed by the shell layer. Such a composite part is preferably used for connecting thermally insulating pipes.
