MANUFACTURING METHOD OF IMAGE READING APPARATUS
Provided is a manufacturing method of a sheet-through image reading apparatus, including a first step of preparing a contact glass, a second step of bonding, after the first step, a heat-resistant and insulative sheet-shaped material to a predetermined position on a major surface of the contact glass, as a transport guide member, a third step of executing plasma processing on the major surface of the contact glass after the second step, a fourth step of executing a fluorine coating on the major surface of the contact glass after the third step, a fifth step of sintering the contact glass after the fourth step, and a sixth step of fixing the contact glass to a casing of the image reading apparatus, after the fifth step.
Composite thermoplastic laminate
A composite sheet material includes a cover sheet, a substrate and an adhesion promoting layer. The cover sheet has a cover sheet material. The substrate has a substrate material. The adhesion promoting layer is disposed between the cover sheet and the substrate. A first side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the cover sheet has an affinity to bond with the cover sheet material. A second side of the adhesion promoting layer disposed towards the substrate has an affinity to bond with the substrate material.
Strengthened polyethylene tubular member
A strengthened polyethylene tubular member, where the polyethylene tubular member has an outer surface, a circumference, a wall thickness, an area to be strengthened, and the outer surface of the polyethylene tubular member contains polyethylene. The strengthened polyethylene tubular member contains a fabric layer wrapped around the circumference of the tubular member at least two full rotations and covering the area to be strengthened. The fabric layer contains a plurality of interwoven tape elements with a base layer of a strain oriented olefin polymer disposed between covering layers of a heat fusible olefin polymer. The tape elements within the fabric layer are bonded together and the tape elements adjacent the tubular member are bonded to the tubular member.
Bicycle Saddle, Saddle Pad, and Method for Producing a Bicycle Saddle or Saddle Pad
The invention relates to a bicycle saddle having a saddle shell, on the underside of which a frame is arranged. A saddle pad is arranged on the upper side of the saddle shell. According to the invention, the saddle pad has two padding elements for improved comfort, wherein in a preferred embodiment the inner padding element is made of TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane).
Athletic band with removable module
A device for monitoring athletic activity of a user. In one example, the device has a sensor, and executes a calibration process using data received from the sensor to determine a correct positioning of the device on the user.
Opening device and apparatus for moulding an opening device on a sheet packaging material
An opening device for a package made of a sheet packaging materialsaid sheet packaging material comprising at least a first layer and a second layer, and having a hole formed through said first layer and sealed by a cover portion of said second layeris made of plastic material molded onto said cover portion, and in turn comprises a spout defining a pouring opening and a wall portion closing said pouring opening, said wall portion defining, together with said cover portion, a user-removable sealing portion of said spout, a weakening region being interposed between said wall portion and said spout and said cover portion covering said weakening region; a molding apparatus for molding an opening device on a sheet packaging material is also disclosed.
Multifilament and braid
It is provided that a multifilament and a braid that are capable of being processed into products in a wide range of temperature and are excellent in dimensional stability and abrasion resistance. A multifilament comprising 5 or more monofilaments, wherein the multifilament contains polyethylene having an intrinsic viscosity [] of 5.0 dL/g or more and 40.0 dL/g or less and substantially including ethylene as a repeating unit, and wherein a difference between a maximum value and a minimum value in a ratio of a diffraction peak intensity of orthorhombic crystal (200) plane to a diffraction peak intensity of orthorhombic crystal (110) plane in a monofilament cross section is 0.22 or less.
Support Poles
A method of forming a support pole, comprising splitting one or more canes of bamboo, or similar tubular plant material, into a plurality of split lengths; inserting a bundle of the split lengths from one or more canes into an outer tube (4); tilting the outer tube (4) at an angle from horizontal and injecting a matrix material into the outer tube (4) so as to fill in between the split lengths and encapsulate the split lengths to form a substantially solid core. The method may comprise injecting the matrix material at multiple injection points (25a, 25b, 25c, 25d) along the length of the tube (4).
Shaping process for PMI foam materials and/or composite components produced therefrom
A disclosed process includes steps of heating a foamed material by irradiation with near infrared radiation having a wavelength between 0.78 and 1.40 m to form a heated material, forming the heated material with a forming tool to obtain a formed material, and cooling the formed material and demolding to obtain a final workpiece. The foamed material may be constructed as a composite ply construction including an outer material and a foamed core between the outer material. The foamed material may contain a poly(meth)acrylimde, a polypropylene or a highly-crosslinked polyurethane.
Athletic band with removable module
A band includes a tubular body configured to be worn on a user's body and a pocket supported by the tubular body, where the pocket defines a cavity and has an access opening providing access to the cavity, and where the pocket is configured to removably receive an electronic module in the cavity through the access opening. An input device is connected to the tubular body and has a port exposed to the cavity of the band, where the port is configured for removable connection to a connector of the electronic module when the electronic module is received in the cavity. The input device may include a button configured to receive user input and a wireless transmitter to transmit a signal to an external device based on the user input. The input device may also include a haptic feedback mechanism for communicating haptic signals to the user.
