USER INTERFACE WITH INTEGRATED SENSORS
20230144677 · 2023-05-11 ·

A user interface of a respiratory therapy system includes a strap assembly, a frame, a connector, and a sensor. The strap assembly is positioned about a head of a user when the user wears the user interface. The frame is physically and electrically connected to the strap assembly, and defines an aperture. The connector has a first end portion and second end portion. The first end portion of the connector can be positioned within the aperture of the frame such that the connector is physically and electrically connected to the frame. The sensor is coupled to the strap assembly or the frame such that the sensor abuts a target area of the user when the user wears the user interface.

Textile seal-forming structure with multiple curvatures

A patient interface including a seal-forming structure with a textile membrane that has at least one hole such that the flow of air at a therapeutic pressure is delivered to at least an entrance to the patients nares and/or an entrance to the patients mouth. The seal-forming structure is constructed and arranged to maintain the therapeutic pressure in a cavity of a plenum chamber throughout the patients respiratory cycle, in use. The textile membrane includes a first portion that is held in a relaxed state and a second portion that is held in a taut state. The taut state of the second portion is configured to allow the seal-forming structure to include a three-dimensional shape that has multiple curvatures.

A combination flush catheter and selective catheter as one convertible catheter and methods of using the same. The selective catheter may be a reverse curve or guide catheter. The additional steps of removal of the flush catheter and re-insertion of the selective catheter may be eliminated, reducing the possibility of errors and making the procedure smoother and shorter.

HEADGEAR TUBING FOR A PATIENT INTERFACE

A patient interface for treating sleep disorder breathing includes a textile tube that also provides support for the seal forming structure. The textile tube includes an inner and outer layer that are joined along seams to form an air chamber or passageway. The textile tube can be pre-shaped so that the textile tube resiliently returns to a pre-determined shape prior to the introduction of pressurized air.

SEAL-FORMING STRUCTURE, POSITIONING AND STABILIZING STRUCTURE AND DIFFUSER VENT FOR PATIENT INTERFACE

A patient interface to deliver a flow of air at a positive pressure with respect to ambient air pressure to an entrance to the patient's airways to ameliorate sleep disordered breathing includes a frame assembly and a cushion assembly configured to removably and repeatably connect to the frame assembly. The frame assembly and the cushion assembly form at least part of a plenum chamber pressurizable to a therapeutic pressure. The cushion assembly comprises a one-piece construction including a seal-forming structure configured to form a seal with a region of a patient's face surrounding the entrance to the patient's airways and a frame connection structure configured to removably and repeatably connect the cushion assembly to the frame assembly. The seal-forming structure comprises a first elastomeric material and the frame connection structure comprises a second elastomeric material, the first elastomeric material comprising a lower durometer or hardness than the second elastomeric material.

Vent adaptor for a respiratory therapy system

A vent adaptor for a for a respiratory pressure therapy (RPT) system, the vent adaptor comprising: a vent assembly comprising: a vent housing defining a central orifice for the flow of pressurized gas to pass through the vent assembly from the delivery conduit to the patient interface, the vent housing having an annular surface around the central orifice, and the annular surface having a plurality of holes to discharge pressurized gas to atmosphere; and a membrane positioned adjacent to the annular surface; a heat and moisture exchanger (HME); and a diffusing member.
