FOAMABLE COMPOSITIONS AND METHODS FOR FABRICATING FOAMED ARTICLES
In one aspect, a foamable composition is disclosed, which comprises a base polymer, talc and a citrate compound blended with the base polymer. In some embodiments, the concentration of the talc in the composition is in a range of about 0.05% to about 25% by weight, e.g., in a range of about 2% to about 20%, or in a range of about 3% to about 15%, or in a range of about 5% to about 10%. Further, the concentration of the citrate compound in the composition can be, for example, in a range of about 0.05% to about 3% by weight, or in a range of about 0.02% to about 0.9% by weight, or in a range of about 0.03% to about 0.8% by weight, or in a range of about 0.04% to about 0.7% by weight, or in a range of about 0.05% to about 0.6% by weight
Method for producing a dry film, rolling device
The invention relates to a method for producing a dry film (3), wherein a dry powder mixture is processed into the dry film (3) by a rolling device comprising a first roller (2a) and a second roller (2b). The first roller (2a) has a higher circumferential rotational speed than the second roller (2b), and the dry film (3) is placed on the first roller (2a).
PROCESS AND APPARATUS FOR THE MANUFACTURING OF A FIGURE-OF-EIGHT CABLE
It is disclosed a process and an apparatus for manufacturing a figure of eight cable. An extrusion head has separate extrusion dies extruding in parallel a first and second outer sheath around a first and second core, respectively, so as to provide two separate cable elements having respective longitudinal axes laying in a first plane. While the outer sheaths are in a softened state, the cable elements are passed in parallel through a twisting die which causes their longitudinal axes to lay in a second plane forming a predetermined twisting angle with respect to the first plane. This twisting causes the outer sheaths to join together, thereby forming a figure of eight cable.

Sealing bar
A method for providing an inductive sealing bar, comprises providing a conductive coil having at least one heating zone, embedding the coil in a supportive body such that the supportive body covers the entire coil along at least some part of the length of the at least one heating zone; and providing a sealing surface of the sealing bar by planarizing the coil and the supportive body such that the coil is exposed along the entire length of said at least one heating zone. The invention also relates to a sealing bar manufactured according to the method.
Cable core and transmission cable
A cable core includes: an internal conductor; a foamed dielectric that includes a fluororesin and is formed on the internal conductor by extrusion molding; and a skin layer that covers the foamed dielectric, and is configured such that a foaming rate of the foamed dielectric is 80% or more, an average foamed cell diameter of the foamed dielectric is 10 m or less, and a standard deviation of a foamed cell diameter of the foamed dielectric is 2.5 or less.
INSULATING RESIN COATING METHOD AND STATOR
An insulating resin coating method for coating with an insulating resin a weld of a stator having a plurality of the welds formed by welding ends of coil wires together, the method including the steps of: sandwiching and covering the weld of the coil wires by a pair of resin-molding molds; and injecting the resin into the resin-molding molds by a resin injector.
METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SEMICONDUCTOR PACKAGE AND METHOD FOR CUTTING Cu ALLOY
A method for manufacturing a semiconductor package by preparing a lead frame including a to-be-cut portion containing a Cu alloy; applying a joining material including Sn or a Sn alloy to the to-be-cut portion; heating the to-be-cut portion so as to react the Sn or Sn alloy and the Cu alloy so as to form an intermetallic compound having a void therein; and cutting the to-be-cut portion together with the intermetallic compound.
System For Cooling A Cable
A cooling system (100) for cooling a cable (10). The system (100) comprises: at least one fixed cooling channel (20), which is arranged downstream of an extrusion head (EH); and at least one multi-pass apparatus (30), which in turn comprises a set of fixed pulleys (32, 33, 34), and a fixed, motor-driven capstan (35) designed to wind the cable (10). The system (100) is characterized in that the multi-pass apparatus (30) comprises a movable pulley (36) designed to translate along vertical guides (39A, 39B). The movable pulley (36) and the vertical guides (39A, 39B) are contained in a cooling device (56) for cooling the cable (10).
METHOD FOR PRODUCING A DRY FILM, ROLLING DEVICE, DRY FILM, AND SUBSTRATE COATED WITH THE DRY FILM
The invention relates to a method for producing dry film (3), wherein a dry powder mixture is processed into the dry film (3) by a rolling device comprising a first roller (2a) and a second roller (2b). The first roller (2a) has a higher circumferential rotational peripheral speed than the second roller (2b), and the dry film (3) is placed on the first roller (2a) wherein the rotational peripheral speed of the first roll to the rotational peripheral speed of the second roll of 10:9 to 10:1 is maintained.
