Methods for Analyzing Thermal Image Data Using a Plurality of Virtual Devices
Thermal imaging camera images are obtained from a thermal imaging camera that rotates through a plurality of stop positions. The camera captures images at a constant frame rate and at least some of the images correspond to stop positions. Thermal imaging camera images that correspond to a stop position are retained, while images that do not correspond to a stop position are discarded. Retained images are sent in a video stream to a video processor. The video stream is separated into individual thermal imaging camera images and stored for corresponding virtual camera devices that correspond to specific stop positions. In addition, the position of the camera and individual pixels of images are both correlated to geographical location data, and depth values for the pixels are determined based on the geographical data.
PLASTIC COMPOSITE PANEL AND ASSOCIATED PRODUCTION METHOD
A method for producing a plastic composite panel which is provided as a layer structure. The method includes providing a film layer structure comprising an adhesive layer which is arranged between two transparent plastic films. The film layer structure is pre-molded to assume an approximately final shape and is arranged in a molding tool so that a first main surface of the film layer structure is towards the molding surface of the molding tool and so that a cavity is formed between the second main surface of the film layer structure and a surface of the molding tool. The film layer structure is then back-molded in a thermal molding method step while introducing a thermoplastic material into the cavity to provide the layer structure. A pre-molding and back-molding step, a rigidification of the thermoplastic layer, and a demolding of the layer structure is further performed.
CURVED LENS PROTECTOR
A curved lens protector can include a tempered glass body having a self-supporting x-y axis curve with a concave inner surface and a convex outer surface opposite the inner surface. The tempered glass body can have an outer boundary of a predetermined shape to substantially match and fit with respect to an inner boundary of a lens holder portion of a predetermined lens frame. The tempered glass body can be configured for attachment to a predetermined curved lens without the use of an adhesive.
Method of manufacturing moulded articles
A method of producing a moulded article comprising a thermoset polymer and particles of porous natural materials, such as wood materials, and uses thereof. The composite material has a continuous matrix of a hardened thermoset polymer and, distributed within the matrix, and the particles are at least partially encased by the thermoset polymer. The method comprises the steps of providing a mould with two opposite pressing surfaces, said pressing surfaces defining a space between them; feeding particles of porous natural materials into the space between the pressing surfaces; advancing the surfaces towards each other to compress the particles in said space; feeding unhardened thermoset resin in liquid form into the mould so as to fill at least said space between pressing surfaces while keeping the particles compressed between the pressing surfaces; and curing the thermoset resin in the mould to provide a moulded composite article.
Integral irradiation unit
The invention relates to an integral irradiation unit for hardening light-hardening polymer compositions, a method for producing hardened polymer molded bodies or bodies coated with hardened polymers using the integral irradiation unit, and to the use of the integral irradiation unit for producing molded polymer bodies or bodies coated with polymers.
LAMINATED MEMBER FOR DECORATION AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING DECORATIVE MOLDED ARTICLE
An object of the present invention is to provide a laminated member for decoration that can be molded into a complicated shape and has a superior hardcoating property. The present invention relates to a laminated member for decoration having a protective film, a coating layer and a resin substrate, wherein the surface roughness Rz(a) of the adhesive layer of the protective film on the side where the coating layer is located and the surface roughness Rz(b) of the coating layer of an unheated sample formed by peeling the protective layer, the surface roughness being taken on the side opposite from the resin substrate, define Rz(b)/Rz(a)×100 having a prescribed relationship; the surface roughness Rz(b) and the surface roughness Rz(bh) of the coating layer of a heated sample prepared by heating the unheated sample under a prescribed condition, the surface roughness being taken on the side opposite from the resin substrate, satisfy at least one of Formulas (2) and (3) below:
0%≤Rz(bh)/Rz(b)×100<30% (2), and
0≤Rz(bh)≤Rz(b)<0.5 μm (3);
and the unreacted (meth)acryloyl groups of the coating layer of the heated sample irradiated with a prescribed amount of active energy rays have disappeared 10 to 100% as compared with the coating layer of the unheated sample.
Polycarbonate resin molding material
Provided is a polycarbonate resin molding material, including an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A), in which the polycarbonate resin molding material has: a content of o-hydroxyacetophenone measured by a predetermined method (1) of 1 ppm by mass or less; and a YI value measured by a predetermined method (2) of 1.21 or less.
REMOVABLE, AQUEOUS-BASED COMPOSITIONS
Removable, aqueous-based compositions, especially sealants useful for, inter alia, temporary craft applications and seasonal weatherization of buildings and methods of their use are disclosed. These sealants reduce the flammability risks and lingering odor problems associated using solvent-based systems, particularly during application. These compositions do not rely on additives that disrupt the adhesion of the compositions to the substrate and that leave undesirable residue on the substrate.
ARTICLES WITH ONE OR MORE VIEWABLE OBJECTS THEREIN
An article includes at least first and second members. A decorative object is within the second member. Interlocking features are adapted to removably interlock the first and second members together. The interlocking features include a channel and a rail that are complementarily shaped so that the rail is receivable within the channel to removably interlock the rail with the channel. At least the second member is formed of a translucent or transparent material so that the decorative object within the second member is visible through the member.
