An article includes at least first and second members. A decorative object is within the second member. Interlocking features are adapted to removably interlock the first and second members together. The interlocking features include a channel and a rail that are complementarily shaped so that the rail is receivable within the channel to removably interlock the rail with the channel. At least the second member is formed of a translucent or transparent material so that the decorative object within the second member is visible through the member.

A resin composition for stereolithography that can reduce generation of color unevenness and provide excellent formability is provided. The resin composition for stereolithography includes an ultraviolet curable resin (A) and an inorganic pigment (B) that are blended, in which the inorganic pigment (B) has a specific gravity of 2.0≤ρ and a particle size distribution of a particle diameter of D50≤5 μm and D90≤20 μm, and a viscosity of the resin composition for stereolithography at 25° C. is 100 Pa.Math.s or more.

Optical scanning for industrial metrology

A method for additive manufacturing includes forming an object including depositing a first material including a first coloring component and a second material including a second coloring component, wherein both the first material and the second material further include a corresponding fluorescent component, scanning the object, including causing an emission of an optical signal from the object, wherein the emission of the optical signal is caused at least in part by an emission from the fluorescent components interacting with the first coloring component and the second coloring component as it passes from the fluorescent components to the surface of the object, sensing the emission of the optical signal, and determining presence of the first material and the second material based at least in part on the sensed emission of the optical signal.

CATHETERS HAVING VISIBLE MARKERS FOR IDENTIFYING SOAKER REGIONS CONTAINING FLUID OPENINGS

A catheter for delivering fluids includes a hollow tube having a proximal section, a distal section, and an elongated lumen that extends through the proximal and distal sections of the hollow tube. One or more fluid openings are formed in the distal section of the hollow tube, which are in fluid communication with the elongated lumen of the hollow tube. A visible marker collar is secured to an outer surface of the hollow tube and is located at a junction of the proximal and distal sections of the hollow tube. A visible marker filament is disposed within the elongated lumen of the hollow tube and extends between the junction of the proximal and distal sections of the hollow tube and a distal end of the hollow tube. The visible markers are used to identify a soaker region of the catheter used to infuse fluids or drain fluids from a patient.

Method of forming an article

Method of forming an article from a molten plastic composition including a polymer and a blowing agent. The method provides that during an injecting step (c) and a packing step (d), the injection pressure and the packing pressure, respectively, are maintained above a minimum pressure threshold in at least one second region of the cavity to maintain the physical blowing agent as a gas dissolved in the polymer so that substantially no gas bubbles are formed in the at least one second region, during a mould opening step (e), at least some of the molten plastic composition is exposed to an external pressure lower than a minimum pressure threshold to form in the article at least one first portion having expanded cellular foam formed from the plastic composition, and prior to the opening step (e), the plastic composition in the at least one second region of the cavity has been cooled so as to be fully solidified to form in the article at least one second portion having a substantially homogeneous, solid phase, unexpanded plastic composition.

Process for manufacturing a shell comprising a decorative film

The invention relates to a process for manufacturing a shell, comprising a decorative film, implementing a first step of molding a plastic material so as to form a first element. The invention is characterized in that the manufacturing process implements a second step that consists in applying a decorative film against a front face of the first element, then a third step of overmolding a plastic material over at least one portion of the decorative film and of the first element so as to hold the detective film between the first element and a second element of the shell.

Fabric

A fabric clothing, in particular a press felt, for use in a machine for producing a fibrous web, contains a woven fabric strip having interwoven longitudinal threads and cross threads, as well as having a first and a second longitudinal end. The two longitudinal ends of the woven fabric strip are connected to one another in a connection zone. Provision is made that the two longitudinal ends are welded to one another by a transmission welding, in particular by a laser transmission welding.

RADIOPAQUE FOAM

Embodiments are directed to a radiopaque foam used to repair composite structures. A method for creating the radiopaque foam comprises providing first and second resin components that are radiolucent to x-ray imaging. A barium sulfate component is combined with the second resin component. After combining the barium sulfate component and the second resin component, the first resin component and the second resin component are mixed to create a pourable foam. An amount of barium sulfate combined with the second resin component is sufficient to render the pourable foam radiopaque to x-ray imaging.

Molding of plastic glazing of tailgates

A method of manufacturing a plastic glazing of a tailgate of a vehicle, the method comprising: injecting a first material into a molding apparatus to form a first component of the plastic glazing, wherein the first component comprises a panel of the plastic glazing; injecting a second material into the molding apparatus to form a second component of the plastic glazing, wherein the second component combines with at least the first component, wherein at least a portion of the first component and the second component comprises a transparent cover of a molded light assembly; and injecting a third material into the molding apparatus to form a third component, wherein the third component combines with at least the first component.

POLYESTER-BASED SHRINK FILM

Provided is a heat-shrinkable polyester film which undergoes less change in the physical properties even in a high-humidity environment, has excellent storage stability, and effectively suppresses a breakage phenomenon of the film after heat shrinkage.

Disclosed is a heat-shrinkable polyester film derived from a polyester resin, in which when tensile strengths in a main shrinkage direction obtained before and after immersion in water at 23° C. for 168 hours in a tensile test as measured according to JIS K 7127 are designated as C1 (MPa) and C2 (MPa), the following Relational Expression (1) is satisfied:
