Decorative Vehicle Element Having a Contour Light
A decorative vehicle element has a contour light. The decorative element is produced as an integrally bonded composite from at least two plastics components in a multi-component injection molding process. A first plastics component consists of a material which can be galvanically coated or lacquered and forms the decorative element, and a second plastics component consists of a transparent or translucent and galvanically inert material and forms a contour light region through which light from an optical fiber element can pass. The second plastics component is located on a rear face of the first plastics component adjoining this face and partially covers the rear face of the first plastics component. An element component produced from the first plastics component performs fastening and fixing of the optical fiber located on the rear face.

A method of manufacturing a fishing lure includes positioning a feather or fur portion about a mold that approximates a body of a fishing lure. The feather or fur portion is positioned proximal to where a fin of the fishing lure would be. The method includes filling the mold with a flexible material to form the fishing lure body, wherein the flexible material engages the feather or fur portion to encapsulate at least a portion thereof within the fishing lure body and ejecting the completed fishing lure body having feather or fur portions at the position proximal to where a fin of the fishing lure would be. A method of making a fascia for an automobile includes providing an article, the article being one of translucent or transparent and applying a deposited pattern onto at least a first portion of a first side of the article. The method further includes forming the article into a shape, the shape being configured to be consonant with a vehicle exterior configuration. A fascia system includes a transparent member mounted on a vehicle, the member having printed matter on one side, and the member being included into a vehicle exterior design. Additionally, the member is oriented in front of an illumination device and is illuminated by the device.
FABRIC
A fabric clothing, in particular a press felt, for use in a machine for producing a fibrous web, contains a woven fabric strip having interwoven longitudinal threads and cross threads, as well as having a first and a second longitudinal end. The two longitudinal ends of the woven fabric strip are connected to one another in a connection zone. Provision is made that the two longitudinal ends are welded to one another by a transmission welding, in particular by a laser transmission welding.
Skin antiseptic applicator and methods of making and using the same
The invention relates to applicators for applying a solution or other composition (e.g., an antiseptic composition) to skin of a patient. The applicator may include a container body having a proximal end, a distal end, and a frangible member disposed at the distal end of the body. The applicator includes a first position where the container body and frangible member are a unitary piece (e.g., blow molded as a single piece), and a second position when the frangible member is rotated relative to the body to irreversibly break a weak point therebetween, releasing the composition in the hollow body through an opening. A porous applicator head may be positioned adjacent the distal end of the body and frangible member, so that the composition flows out the body, through the opening, and onto the head. The applicator may be formed in a blow-fill-seal process for improved sterility and ease of manufacture.
