Super Absorbent Polymer Film and Preparation Method Thereof
The present disclosure relates to a super absorbent polymer film and a preparation method of the same. Specifically, it relates to a new type of super absorbent polymer film, which is thin and exhibits excellent absorption performance and high tensile strength. In addition, the super absorbent polymer film of the present disclosure is free from scattering or leaking, and does not require an auxiliary substance such as pulp, so that products can be made thinner and the manufacturing process and costs may be reduced.
MOLDED PLASTIC STRUCTURES
A structure, such as a tabletop, may be constructed from plastic, such as blow-molded. The tabletop may include an upper surface, a lower surface, and a hollow interior portion disposed between the upper surface and the lower surface. A lip may extend downwardly relative to the lower surface of the tabletop, and the lip including an outer surface and an inner surface. A plurality of supports may be disposed in the inner surface of the lip, and a plurality of joints may be disposed in the inner surface of the lip. A joint may be disposed between adjacent supports. A distal portion of the lip may include a compression edge. A lower portion of the supports may contact the compression edge, and/or a lower portion of the joints may contact the compression edge.
POLYPROPYLENE FOR ADDITIVE MANUFACTURING (3D PRINTING)
A process and printer systems for printing a three-dimensional object are disclosed. The processes may include providing a non-crosslinked peroxydicarbonate-branched polypropylene filament, flake, pellet, or powder adapted for one of a fused deposition modeling (Arburg Plastic Freeforming) printer or a fused filament fabrication printer; and printing the non-crosslinked peroxydicarbonate-branched polypropylene with fused deposition modeling (Arburg Plastic Freeforming) printer or a fused filament fabrication printer to form a three-dimensional article. The printer systems may include one or more print heads for printing a polymer provided in filament, powder, flake, or pellet form to form a three-dimensional article; and one or more feed systems for providing a non-crosslinked peroxydicarbonate-branched polypropylene to a respective print head.
ROTOMOLDING COMPOSITIONS WITH LOW RELATIVE ELASTICITY
High density polyethylene compositions having a high flow index and a bimodal composition provides an outstanding combination of processability, stiffness and ductility in rotomolded articles. The compositions have a low relative elasticity (G′/G″, measured at 0.05 rad/sec) of less than 0.03.
Melt processible fluororesin composition and injection molded article formed from same
Provided is a melt processible fluororesin composition for injection molding of articles that has melt flow that facilitates injection molding, that can enhance strength of a fluororesin weld line area in an injection molded article, and that achieves excellent release from a mold. The fluororesin composition includes two or more types of melt processible fluororesins having different melt flow rates; one of the melt processible fluororesins being a high melt flow rate melt processible fluororesin having a melt flow rate of 35 g/10 min or greater, and another being a low melt flow rate melt processible fluororesin having a melt flow rate of 10 g/10 min or greater but less than 35 g/10 min; and wherein the ratio of the melt flow rate (MFRa) of the high MFR melt processible fluororesin to the melt flow rate (MFRb) of the low MFR melt processible fluororesin (MFRa/MFRb) is from 1 to 10.
COMPOSITE FILAMENT FOR 3D PRINTING OF RESORBABLE BONE SCAFFOLDS
Disclosed are composite filaments for 3D printing. The filaments typically have high strength, an appropriate resorption rate, and high biocompatibility. The filaments generally contain a matrix formed of a blend containing a bioresorbable polymer and an inorganic component. The filaments can be used to produce customized scaffolds for repairing bone defects following implantation in the site of the defect. The shape and size of the scaffold can be configured to fit in and conform to the bone defect. The scaffolds are especially useful in repairing critical sized bone defect, such as a critical sized bone defect in a weight-bearing long bone.
