Fixture for heat pressing process of manufacturing airbag
A fixture for heat pressing process is applied to a hot pressing machine for hot pressing two elastic plastic pieces so as to manufacture an airbag. The two elastic plastic pieces are disposed between the fixture and the hot pressing machine. The fixture includes a first frame, a second frame and a flexible heat blocking layer. The first frame includes two first brackets, which are separated from each other with a first distance. The second frame includes two second brackets, which are separated from each other with a second distance, and located at two ends of the first brackets, respectively. The flexible heat blocking layer is fixed by the first frame and/or the second frame.
Gas bag arrangement and method for manufacturing a gas bag arrangement
A gas bag arrangement with a gas bag and a filling mechanism arranged in an opening of the gas bag for filling the gas bag with gas is provided. It is provided that the filling mechanism is elastically held in the opening by a holding mechanism arranged in the region of the opening, wherein the holding mechanism has elastic properties due to which it exerts holding forces on the filling mechanism.
AIRBAG SEALING STRUCTURE AND METHOD
An airbag sealing structure, including: an airbag body; at least one opening portion, configured on the airbag body; at least one passage portion, configured inside the airbag body and positioned at one side of the opening portion, a diameter of the passage portion being smaller than 2.9 millimeters; at least one accommodation space far away from the side of the opening portion and configured on the passage portion; and at least one blocking portion, configured inside the accommodation space and positioned at one side of the passage portion. Thereupon, a pneumatic pump nozzle may be inserted in the opening portion of the airbag body to fill air into the airbag body, air will then enter the accommodation space through the passage portion to inflate the accommodation space; when the accommodation space is saturated with air, the airbag body will seal the passage portion; thereafter, the passage portions are hot-sealed immediately.
AIRBAG AND METHOD OF PRODUCTION OF AIRBAG
Provided is an airbag which can be easily manufactured though it is provided with a tether inside, and has a reduced fear of gas leakage from a joint region. The airbag includes a joint region of outer circumferential edges of a pair of walls. The joint region includes, between the outer circumferential edges of the pair of walls, a sealing member which has elasticity, and has adhesiveness in an unsolidified state. The joint region is formed by such a sewing that runs a sewing thread through an application area of the sealing member. A tether connects the pair of walls. The joint region includes a region in which the sealing member has a solidified, thus non-adhesive surface, and is pressed against at least one of the walls by the non-adhesive surface, and penetrated by the sewing thread in that state.
Recycling polyamide airbags
A composition, in particular for molding, including a mixture of a polyamide material, a powder made from airbag scraps, and optionally a reinforcing filler. Also described, is an article formed from the composition.
Systems and method for producing three-dimensional articles from flexible composite materials
The present disclosure encompasses three-dimensional articles comprising flexible composite materials and methods of manufacturing said three-dimensional articles. More particularly, the present system relates to methods for manufacturing seamless three dimensional-shaped articles usable for such finished products as airbags/inflatable structures, bags, shoes, and similar three-dimensional products. A preferred manufacturing process combines composite molding methods with specific precursor materials to form flexible fiber-reinforced continuous shaped articles.
Method of wrapping an inflatable airbag for protection of a person, wrapped inflatable airbag, wrapping for inflatable airbag, airbag module and vehicle safety system
The invention relates a method of wrapping an inflatable airbag (31) for the protection of a person, comprising the steps of: folding an airbag (31), fastening the folded airbag (31) to a module carrier, positioning the folded airbag (31) fastened to the module carrier relative to a wrapping (20) including plural surface portions (21) such that the respective outer ends (23) of the surface portions (21) project from the airbag (31), folding each of the outer ends (23) of the surface portions (21) toward the middle (M) of the wrapping (20) so that the folded airbag (31) is wrapped at least in portions, and connecting, especially welding, the outer ends (23) of the surface portions (21) in portions to the airbag (31).
Procedure for rivets, riveting tool, riveting machine and airbag component
A method of riveting using a plastically deformable plastic rivet is provided. The method includes positioning the plastic rivet in front of the rivet on a component, of a motor vehicle, and deforming the rivet by a riveting die by applying a riveting force, such that a rivet holds the component wherein the rivet is with a rivet dynamometer and the riveting force is measured and a rivet is set with a predetermined breaking point.
Process for the treatment of technical textiles
The present invention relates to a process for the treatment of technical textiles based on thermoplastic fibers and comprising a coating, such as, in particular, airbags, using the principle of centrifugal decanting to separate the fiber residues and the coating material. The invention also relates to a process for the manufacture of a thermoplastic composition, in particular for molding, obtained by use of the fiber residues as obtained and optionally of reinforcing fillers. The distinguishing feature of this invention is based on the preparation of the fabric devoid of coating, thus resulting in formulations with elevated mechanical performances.
RECYCLING POLYAMIDE AIRBAGS
A composition, in particular for molding, including a mixture of a polyamide material, a powder made from airbag scraps, and optionally a reinforcing filler. Also described, is an article formed from the composition.
