Some versions of the oven assembly may include features such as a base, an outer wall extending from the base, a first chamber defined by the outer wall and the base, an oven element disposed in the first chamber, a second chamber defined by the oven element, and at least one opening defined by the oven element. Some versions of oven assembly may be configured to pass heated air therethrough. Some versions of oven assembly may include features such as a heating element disposed in the chamber and configured to be electrically coupled with the vaporizer when the oven assembly is disposed in an oven receiving area of the vaporizer. The heating element may be configured to heat air within the chamber.

TEXTILE SEAL-FORMING STRUCTURE WITH MULTIPLE CURVATURES

A patient interface including a seal-forming structure with an elastomeric membrane that has at least one hole such that the flow of air at a therapeutic pressure is delivered to at least an entrance to the patients nares and/or an entrance to the patients mouth. The seal-forming structure is constructed and arranged to maintain the therapeutic pressure in a cavity of a plenum chamber throughout the patients respiratory cycle, in use. The elastomeric membrane includes a first portion that is held in a relaxed state and a second portion that is held in a taut state. The elastomeric membrane is molded to include a three-dimensional shape that has multiple curvatures. The at least one hole includes an arch on a lateral side of the at least one hole, and is in a relaxed state before use. The arch is configured to move to a substantially taut state during use.

Ultra rapid cycle portable oxygen concentrator

Lightweight, portable oxygen concentrators that operate using an ultra rapid, sub one second, adsorption cycle based on advanced molecular sieve materials are disclosed. The amount of sieve material utilized is a fraction of that used in conventional portable devices. This dramatically reduces the volume, weight, and cost of the device. Innovations in valve configuration, moisture control, case and battery design, and replaceable sieve module are described. Patients with breathing disorders and others requiring medical oxygen are provided with a long lasting, low cost alternative to existing portable oxygen supply devices.

HUMIDIFICATION SYSTEM

A humidification system can include a heater base, a chamber, and a breathing circuit. The heater base includes a heater plate positioned in a recessed region, and a heat conductive portion of the chamber is configured to contact the heater plate. The heater base includes a guard configured to control movement of the chamber into and out of the recessed region. The guard includes an anti-racking mechanism. The chamber includes an inlet port, an outlet port. A downward extension extends into the chamber from the inlet port, and a baffle is disposed at a lower end of the downward extension. A component of the breathing circuit can include a conduit hanging end cap for shipping and storage. The end cap can include a hanging component to allow the breathing circuit component to be hung from a medical stand. The system can detect when breathing circuits are connected in reverse.

PACKAGE FOR AN ACIDIC DIALYSIS FLUID CONCENTRATE CONTAINING CITRATE AND GLUCOSE

The present invention concerns a package comprising an acidic citrate containing concentrate, an acidic citrate containing concentrate (or acidic citrate containing solution), and a system wherein the acidic citrate containing concentrate is included for providing a dialysis treatment. The acidic citrate containing concentrate contains citric acid and citrate in a molar ratio of 75:25 to 85:15, and has a pH of between 2 and 3.

HUMIDIFIER AND/OR FLOW GENERATOR FOR CPAP DEVICE

A positive airway pressure device includes a blower and a base. A blower outlet passage is connected to the blower and has a central tubular portion and a flexible sealing portion surrounding an outer circumferential surface of the central tubular portion. The base receives a tub with a heat conducting base plate, an internal air passage configured to receive the pressurized flow of respiratory gas from the blower outlet passage, and a pair of tub flanges extending laterally from respective side walls of the tub. Each tub flange has a horizontal portion and a tapered portion. The base further includes a floor with a heater plate a pair of base flanges. Each base flange extends laterally inward from a respective one of the side walls and engages a respective tub flange as the tub is inserted into the base with the tapered portions of the tub flanges being received first.

ORO-PILLOW CUSHION ASSEMBLY

A patient interface including a seal-forming structure having a mouth portion that forms at least part of the mouth plenum and is configured to seal around the patient's mouth and a nasal portion that is configured to seal with the patient's nares. The patient interface further includes a vent structure with a main body that is configured to be secured to the mouth portion and includes a vent wall with a plurality of vent holes, a receptacle, and a pair of anchor sockets located on opposing lateral sides of the receptacle. A cover for the vent includes a pair of anchor pegs on lateral sides of the cover. The anchor pegs are configured to be inserted into the anchor sockets to secure the cover to the main body. A diffuser is received within the receptacle between the anchor sockets and is sandwiched between the main body and the cover.

Medical and non-medical devices made from hydrophilic rubber materials

This invention relates to medical, health care and non-medical devices comprising a rubbery or elastomeric polymer material taking up more than 5% by weight of water and at most 500% by weight of water after immersion in demineralized water at room temperature for a sufficient time to reach saturation. The material may be in the form of a foam, or in the form of a coating adapted for adhesion to a substrate, or in the form of a sheet, or in the form of a fiber, and may comprise: —repeating units from one or more hydrophobic organic monomers, and —repeating units from one or more monomers (a) being modified with one or more hydrophilic side groups.
