VARIEGATED BUILDING PRODUCT AND METHOD
An injection molded product is disclosed and includes a shingle resembling a cedar shingle tile formed from an amorphous or semi-crystalline thermoplastic and having a wood grain direction. The injection molded product also includes streaks in the shingle that are substantially parallel to the wood grain direction and the streaks extend through an interior of the shingle and appear as contrasting streaks on an exterior of the shingle to form a variegated wood grain appearance. The injection molded product further includes an injection molded vestige in the shingle. The injection molded vestige is located adjacent to a perimeter of the shingle and the injection molded vestige comprises a location at which material entered an injection mold through a gate.
Layered Thermoplastic Structure With Reflective Intermediate Layer and Method of Manufacture
The present disclosure relates generally to polymer structures, for example, suitable for construction products. The present disclosure relates more particularly to a thermoplastic construction product including a coextruded layer structure having a base layer including a first thermoplastic material, an outer layer including a second thermoplastic material, and an infrared-reflective intermediate layer that is coextruded with the base layer and the outer layer and is disposed between the base layer and the outer layer. In some embodiments the intermediate layer has a thickness of at least 30 micrometers. In some embodiments the infrared-reflective intermediate layer includes a reflective pigment dispersed in a matrix of one of the first thermoplastic material or the second thermoplastic material.

PROCESS FOR THREE-DIMENSIONAL PRINTING, PARTICULARLY FOR THE PRODUCTION OF WINDOWS, PLATE-SHAPED ELEMENTS FOR FLOORS OR THE LIKE
The process for three-dimensional printing, particularly for the production of windows, plate-shaped elements for floors or the like, comprises: a supply step of PVC and of a solvent in which the PVC is soluble; a mixing step of the PVC and of the solvent to obtain a mixture in the liquid phase; a distribution step of the mixture onto a deposition surface (1); an evaporation step of the solvent for obtaining a layer of PVC (2) of a manufactured article (3), wherein the evaporation step is subsequent to the distribution step; and repeating the distribution step and the evaporation step to obtain a plurality of overlapping layers of PVC (2) forming the manufactured article (3).
EQUIPMENT FOR THE PRODUCTION OF SLABS IN MINERAL GRITS BOUND WITH RESINS
The equipment for the production of slabs in mineral grits bound with resins, comprises: a support frame, at least one lower plate, locked together with the frame, comprising at least one positioning zone for at least one mold having at least one forming cavity, open at the top, to contain a mix comprising the materials necessary to obtain the slabs, at least one pressing assembly comprising an upper plate movable, with respect to the frame, from an upper position of loading/unloading the mold in/from the positioning zone, to a lower position of pressing the mix inside said forming cavity, vibrating means associated at least with the lower plate, and an airtight chamber, communicating with suction means, adapted to reduce the pressure to a value lower than the atmospheric pressure, containing the mold, where the chamber is interposed between the lower plate and an upper closing element opposite the lower plate.
Apparatus for forming blanks from fibrous material
An apparatus for forming blanks from fibrous material is disclosed. The apparatus includes a die having a porous body with a plurality of perforations extending there through, the plurality of perforations having varying sizes and being layered from a top surface to a bottom surface of the porous body. A smooth molding surface is provided on the top surface to hold the fibrous material and allow water to drain from the fibrous material through the plurality of perforations.
Photocurable compositions
The present invention relates to a method for the preparation of dies for moulds for the production of tiles with three dimensional texture.
SHAPED TILE AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD FOR FABRICATING THE SAME
A shaped tile and its manufacturing method are described. The manufacturing method for fabricating a shaped tile comprises a thermoforming process, which comprises using a thermoforming mold to perform heat-compression on an intermediate tile so as to melt and deform the intermediate tile while heat-compression is applied, and to form a molding edge on at least one periphery of the intermediate tile such that the intermediate tile is turned into a shaped tile. By employing the proposed present invention, it is advantages of maintaining a final configuration of the shaped tile without getting any distortion.
