Furnace inducer elbow, gas furnace system having elbow, and method of manufacturing elbow
A furnace inducer elbow in accordance with one, non-limiting embodiment of the present disclosure includes a main body section having a first opening and a second opening arranged at a non-zero angle from the first opening, the main body section made of a first material; and, a sealing section integrally connected to the main body section at the first opening and at the second opening, the sealing section made of a second material different from the first material, wherein the second material is more flexible than the first material; wherein the sealing section includes an inlet aligned with the first opening and configured to seal to a flue vent connection member of an inducer fan assembly, and the sealing section further including an outlet aligned with the second opening and configured to seal to a flue vent.
Pipe elbows and methods of manufacture
A pipe elbow has a first end and a second end off parallel to the first end. An interior surface of the pipe elbow has a centerline having an arcuate portion. A circular cylindrical exterior surface portion of the pipe elbow surrounds the arcuate portion of the centerline.
Bent pipe structure
A curved portion at an inner circumferential face on a bend direction inside of a bend has a circular arc shape. By configuring the curved portion with a circular arc shape, a recess, serving as an example of a cross-sectional area enlargement portion that enlarges the cross-sectional area of a flow path of a pipe body running along a direction of an axial line 13, is formed in the inner circumferential face on the bend direction inside of the bend.
Fusion welding fittings with weld bead cover
A fitting for use in fusion welding mating thermoplastic components includes a weld bead chamber to capture and conceal a bead formed as a result of the fusion weld. The weld bead chamber integrates the bead into the fitting so that the joined parts have a finished look without mechanical polishing or grinding of the completed piece. A stop ledge included in the weld bead chamber prevents over insertion of a pipe or other component into the fitting. A view window in the fitting permits inspection of the finished bead.
Method for the manufacture of a plug-in connector, and plug-in connector
The invention relates to a method for producing a plug-in connector, and to a plug-in connector comprising a first tubular component and a second tubular component, and also a first connection geometry and a second connection geometry. A method for producing a plug-in connector is to be made available that permits an easier modification of the relative angle between the longitudinal axes of the two components in the finished plug-in connector. To this end, the two connection geometries are arranged in a connection plane inclined with respect to the longitudinal axes, such that the relative angle between the longitudinal axes can be modified by rotating the components. After a relative angle has been selected, the two connection geometries are connected by integral bonding.
Rotatable pipe adapter
A pipe adapter includes a first tubular element, a second tubular element, and an annular securing member disposed around and fixed to a second portion of the first tubular element. The annular securing member has a flange portion that contacts and secures the second tubular element axially relative to the first tubular element while also allowing the second tubular element to rotate relative to the first tubular element and the annular securing member. An annular sealing member is located around the first portion of the second tubular element to provide an axial seal along the adapter.
Female Connector of a Plug-In Connector and Plug-In Connector
According to one embodiment a plug-in connector is provided that includes a female connector and a male connector. The female connector includes a head configured for being connected to the male connector and a body fixed to the head which is configured for being attached to a pipe/hose. A contact area comprising a line of contact communicated with the inside of the female connector is defined between the head and the body. The plug-in connector also includes a sealing gasket configured for assuring leak-tightness between the female connector and the male connector, the line of contact being arranged in a previous axial position with respect to at least part of the sealing gasket in the direction of insertion of the male connector into the female connector, such that the sealing gasket itself also assures the leak-tightness in the line of contact.
Fluid Interaction Device, Fluid Interaction Arrangement And Method For Producing Same
A fluid interaction device for establishing an interaction with a fluid, particularly a brake fluid or a fuel fluid. A housing member accommodates a fluid interaction portion. The fluid interaction portion is adapted to interact with a fluid within the housing member. The housing member further comprises a connection portion which can be connected to a fluid supply element. The connection portion is formed as a weldable, tubular end portion so that the housing member can be connected to a joining portion of the fluid supply element by means of a welded joint.
Rotatable Pipe Adapter
A pipe adapter includes a first tubular element having a first portion, a second portion axially adjacent the first portion, and a securing portion adjacent an end of the second portion opposite the first portion, the second portion defining a socket; a second tubular element having a first portion and a second portion axially adjacent the first portion, the first portion defining a distal end sized for insertion into the socket and having a radially extending stop; an annular sealing member. The securing portion is formed integrally with the second portion of the first tubular element and has a flange portion contacting the stop to secure the second tubular element axially relative to the first tubular element while also allowing the second tubular element to rotate relative to the first tubular element.
