A gasket welding apparatus (10) comprising: a pair of opposed clamping members (16A, 16B) for supporting corresponding first and second lengths of gasket material. The clamping members (16A, 16B) being moveable towards and away from one another by an actuator (58). The gasket welding apparatus (10) comprises a heating element (30), the heating element (30) is moveable between a first position in which it is removed from the clamping members and a second position in which it is disposed between the clamping members.

The third sections that do not include the adhesive agent define a passageway between a mold cavity to an exterior of the mold that is configured to expel a gas from the mold cavity during injection of a molding material into the mold cavity.
Gasket molded product and method of manufacturing the same
The purpose of the present invention is to improve the handling and usability of rubber only-type gaskets. To achieve said purpose, a gasket molding is obtained by combining a rubber only-type gasket body with a film carrier obtained from a resin film that holds the gasket body in an unbonded state. The gasket molding is characterized in that: in addition to a gasket-holding section for holding the gasket body, the film carrier has temporary tacking sections that are surface-treated to temporarily tack the gasket body to said film carrier; the gasket body has temporary tack-receiving sections that are temporarily tacked to the temporary tacking sections; and the temporary tacking sections and temporary tack-receiving sections are removed from the film carrier and the gasket body when the film carrier and gasket body are punched into the product shapes.
Thermoplastic Vulcanizate Compositions including Cyclic Olefin Copolymers
Described herein are thermoplastic vulcanizate compositions that include a thermoplastic matrix comprising a cyclic olefin copolymer and an oil and particles dispersed in the thermoplastic matrix and comprising an at least partially cross-linked rubber. The thermoplastic vulcanizate composition has a tan ? profile comprising a peak occurring between about ?20? C. and about 90? C. and having a peak value between about 0.1 and about 2.0.
Method of manufacturing a two component sealing gasket for plastic pipe
A pipe sealing gasket is shown which is designed to be received within a raceway provided within the female, belled end of a section of plastic pipe which is assembled with a mating male pipe end to form a plastic pipe joint. The gasket is a two-component gasket having a softer, elastomeric portion and a harder, plastic ring portion. A splicing technique is used to form the softer, elastomeric portion with the harder, plastic portion being injection molded over the previously formed elastomeric portion.

A downhole tool for use in a wellbore, the downhole tool including a polymer seal. The polymer seal is a continuous single monolithic piece, includes polymer structures having a polymer chain including same types of monomers that are bonded together, and the polymer structures are altered along one or more dimensions of the polymer seal and one of more mechanical properties of the polymer seal differ along a same corresponding one of the or more dimensions of the polymer seal.

A washing machine includes a casing, a tub, a drum, a circulation pump, an annular gasket connecting between openings of the casing and the tub and including circulation nozzles configured to supply water into the drum, and a conduit fixed to the gasket and guiding water to the circulation nozzles. The conduit includes an inlet port configured to receive water from the pump, a transport pipe configured to guide water from the inlet port to the circulation nozzles, and a supply ports configured to supply water to the circulation nozzles. A method for manufacturing a conduit includes positioning supply ports in a cavity defined at a first mold, forming a parison having a hollow opening by extruding a raw material, positioning the parison in the cavity, combining the first mold and a second mold, and injecting gas into the hollow opening of the parison.
GASKET AND SEALING STRUCTURE
A gasket 100 is configured to seal a gap between an installation member 200 and a fixation member 300 which are fixed to each other. The gasket 100 has an annular gasket main body 11 configured to be fitted into an annular groove 210 provided in the installation member 200 and configured to be in close contact with a bottom surface 210a of the annular groove 210 and with an end surface 310 of the fixation member 300, and an auxiliary seal portion 12 extending from the gasket main body 11 toward an opposite region, which is opposite to a sealed region. The auxiliary seal portion 12 is configured to be in close contact with an end surface 220 of the installation member 200 on the opposite region side of the annular groove 210 and with the end surface 310 of the fixation member 300.

The present invention provides a sealing device for an opening. The device includes a body that has a first side and a second side. A passageway is formed through the body such that the passageway has a first end adjacent to the first side and a second end that is adjacent to the second side. A sealing member is provided that includes an outer gasket and an inner gasket. The outer gasket is positioned adjacent the first side and the inner gasket is positioned adjacent the second side. A seal connector connects the inner gasket and the outer gasket and the seal connector passes through the passageway. In this way, the inner gasket and the outer gasket are mechanically attached to the ring. The sealing device is configured for use in such applications as sealing the cargo opening on the deck of a kayak.
