Syringe gasket
Provided is a syringe gasket including a first member, and a second member connected to the first member and coupled to a plunger rod of a syringe. The first member includes a top face contacting with the liquid, and a first side circumferential face that faces an inner circumferential face of a barrel of the syringe. The first side circumferential face has, at an end portion thereof close to the second member, a ring-like trimmed face. An inert film is laminated on the top face and the portion of the first side circumferential face other than the ring-like trimmed face. The second member includes a second side circumferential face that faces the inner circumferential face of the barrel, and a ring-like protruding portion that projects outward in the radial direction from the second side circumferential face. The ring-like protruding portion at least partially covers the ring-like trimmed face.

The present inventive concept relates to a method of manufacturing a pipe packing inserted into a housing having a hollow body shape to prevent fluid flowing inside a pipe from leaking to the outside, the method including: manufacturing the pipe packing by injecting molten rubber into a mold assembly having an outer mold and an inner mold, wherein the pipe packing is configured as a hollow body and comprises an outer circumferential part located outside of the pipe relative thereto, opposite surfaces provided in directions toward a middle of the pipe packing at opposite ends of the outer circumferential part, and an inner circumferential part provided toward a center portion of the opposite surfaces therefrom, wherein the inner circumferential part has a gap provided therein to be divided into opposite inner circumferential parts.
Method of Manufacturing a Two Component Sealing Gasket for Plastic Pipe
A pipe sealing gasket is shown which is designed to be received within a raceway provided within the female, belled end of a section of plastic pipe which is assembled with a mating male pipe end to form a plastic pipe joint. The gasket is a two-component gasket having a softer, elastomeric portion and a harder, plastic ring portion. A splicing technique is used to form the softer, elastomeric portion with the harder, plastic portion being injection molded over the previously formed elastomeric portion.

The conduit includes an inlet port configured to receive water from the pump, a transport pipe configured to guide water from the inlet port to the circulation nozzles, and a supply ports configured to supply water to the circulation nozzles. A method for manufacturing a conduit includes positioning supply ports in a cavity defined at a first mold, forming a parison having a hollow opening by extruding a raw material, positioning the parison in the cavity, combining the first mold and a second mold, and injecting gas into the hollow opening of the parison.

A probe includes an elastic element having first and second ends, a transmitter, one or more receiving antennas and one or more narrow-band amplifiers. The transmitter is coupled to the first end and is configured to transmit signals in a given range of frequencies. The one or more receiving antennas are coupled to the second end and are configured to receive the signals. The one or more narrow-band amplifiers have a pass-band that matches the given range of frequencies and are configured to amplify the signals received by the one or more receiving antennas, respectively.
Method and Apparatus for Making Form-in-Place Gaskets
An apparatus for making hollow, form-in-place gaskets is disclosed. The apparatus includes a nozzle and a forming surface. The nozzle comprises an extrusion orifice for extruding a gasket onto the forming surface. The apparatus further includes means for the nozzle to separately communicate with an air supply and a liquid elastomer supply. The nozzle configuration maintains the separation between the supplied air and the supplied liquid elastomer proximate to the extrusion orifice.
MOLDING METHOD AND MOLDING DIE FOR MOLDED ARTICLE
The purpose of the present invention is to make it possible to shorten the time required for a burr removal step and make it difficult for the burrs to detach from a sheet member in a step for removing the burrs together with the sheet member. For removal, by making the burrs to adhere to a pliable sheet member such as paper or nonwoven fabric that has been incorporated beforehand in the molding die and stripping the sheet member from the molding die, the burrs are removed together with the sheet member. The present invention is characterized in that in order to make it difficult for the burrs to detach from the sheet member during the stripping, a radiused shape with an arc-shaped cross-section is formed by the molding die on the areas surrounding the sections where the burrs adhere to the sheet member.

A gasket includes a reinforcing body made of a resin film, a one-side gasket body on one surface of the reinforcing body, and another-side gasket body on another surface of the reinforcing body. The reinforcing body has, between both gasket bodies, a three-dimensional shape in which the resin film is bent. The one-side gasket body includes an inversely-tapered engaging convex portion protruding toward the other-side gasket body, the reinforcing body includes a deformation portion as the three-dimensional shape deforming along a shape of the engaging convex portion, and the other-side gasket body includes an inversely-tapered engaging concave portion embedding therein the engaging convex portion and the deformation portion. At least one of the one-side gasket body and the other-side gasket body includes a flat surface-shaped seal surface, and the reinforcing body has a convex shape as the three-dimensional shape protruding toward the flat surface-shaped seal surface.

When a laminated gasket product is demolded from a mold in production thereof by a conventional production process, the gasket product is rubbed against the mold and, therefore, minute scratches are formed on a surface of the gasket product. The minute scratches may impair the reliable sealability of a liquid drug. A method for producing a gasket (13) for use in a prefilled syringe (10) includes the steps of: preparing a gasket forming mold; molding a gasket (13) in the mold, the gasket having a surface laminated with a lamination film (15) and including a circumferential surface portion (17); demolding the gasket (13) from the mold, and then simultaneously forming a groove (22) and a projection (24) each extending circumferentially of the gasket in a portion of the lamination film (15) present in the circumferential surface portion (17) of the gasket.
