Fiber-reinforced resin component and method for producing fiber-reinforced resin component
A fiber-reinforced resin component comprises a first part having a plurality of first fiber layers impregnated in a matrix resin and a second part having a plurality of second fiber layers impregnated in the matrix resin. The second part is bonded to the first part via an adhesive layer. The fiber-reinforced resin component further comprises a plurality of connecting fibers that connect the first part and the second part. One end portion of the connecting fibers is sandwiched between the first fiber layers, and the other end portion of the connecting fibers is sandwiched between the second fiber layers.
Method for the production of fiber composite component
A method produces a fiber composite component according to which a fiber arrangement having carbon fibers as reinforcing fibers is arranged on a carrier material having a fibrous material in order to form a structure. A covering layer having a non-conductive material is arranged on the structure. The carbon fibers are arranged largely in the load path direction of the fiber composite component to be produced, and regions of the fiber composite component to be penetrated by electromagnetic signals and/or waves are configured such that they are largely free of carbon fibers.
Air bag lid reinforcing member and method for manufacturing same
An airbag lid reinforcing member includes a door part, a flange part, a leg part and a hinge member. The flange part surrounds an outer periphery of the door part. The leg part is arranged on the flange part. An inside surface of the leg part defines support ribs supporting the hinge member. The support ribs are arranged with a gap in a width direction of the leg part. A portion of the hinge member is buried in the flange part. In a region of the hinge member between a tip of each of the support ribs and an end surface of the flange part, at least an upper part in a thickness direction of the hinge member is exposed from the support ribs. A portion of the hinge member positioned between adjacent ones of the support ribs is exposed from the support ribs and the flange part.
Composite vehicle driveshaft with welded joint system
A composite vehicle driveshaft is provided with a composite tube and a welded joint system(s) at one or both ends of the composite tube for connecting the composite vehicle driveshaft to driveline components. Each welded joint system may include a sleeve that is bonded to an end of the composite tube and a joint assembly that is welded to the sleeve.
LAND VEHICLES INCORPORATING MONOCOQUES AND MODULAR MOLD SYSTEMS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Land vehicles, modular systems for forming monocoques of land vehicles, and methods of forming monocoques of land vehicles using modular systems are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, the land vehicles are provided as delivery vehicles and/or utility vehicles. A land vehicle includes a monocoque supporting a plurality of wheels to permit movement of the vehicle relative to an underlying surface in use of the land vehicle.
LAND VEHICLES INCORPORATING REMOVABLE POWERTRAIN UNITS, POWERTRAIN UNITS, AND METHODS THEREFOR
Land vehicles, powertrain units for land vehicles, and methods of using land vehicles are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, the land vehicles are provided as delivery vehicles and/or utility vehicles. A land vehicle includes a frame structure having a front cage that defines an operator cabin and a rear floor positioned rearward of the front cage. The frame structure supports a plurality of wheels to permit movement of the vehicle relative to an underlying surface in use of the land vehicle. An underside of the frame structure is disposed in confronting relation with the underlying surface.
Methods of making monocoques of land vehicles using modular mold systems
Land vehicles, modular systems for forming monocoques of land vehicles, and methods of forming monocoques of land vehicles using modular systems are disclosed. In certain embodiments, the land vehicles are provided as delivery vehicles and/or utility vehicles. A land vehicle includes a monocoque supporting a plurality of wheels to permit movement of the vehicle relative to an underlying surface in use of the land vehicle.
PANEL FOR A VEHICLE
A panel for a vehicle includes a core formed from fibers and a thermoset resin. The panel also includes a first barrier layer positioned on a first side of the core and a second barrier layer positioned on a second side of the core, opposite the first side. Each of the first and second barrier layers is configured to block flow of the thermoset resin from the core during a panel forming process.
Vehicle grille
A vehicle grille includes: a grille panel; a lens panel disposed at a rear side of the grille panel, formed in a same shape as some or entire area of the grille panel, and, when a light is incident, configured to allow some of the light to propagate in the lens panel and emit some of the light to an outside of the lens panel; and a housing disposed on a rear surface of the lens panel, formed in a same shape as the lens panel, and including a coupling provision end portion configured to allow a front surface of the lens panel to be coupled to a rear surface of the grille panel at a front side of the lens panel, wherein the rear surface of the lens panel and a front surface of the housing are coupled at the front side of the lens panel.
LAND VEHICLES INCORPORATING MONOCOQUES AND MODULAR MOLD SYSTEMS FOR MAKING THE SAME
Electric vehicles are disclosed herein. In certain embodiments, an electric vehicle includes a front cage, a rear floor, an intermediate section, a utility cabinet, and a flatbed. In other embodiments, an electric vehicle includes a front cage, a rear floor, an intermediate section, and a flatbed. In some embodiments, the front cage at least partially defines an operator cabin, the rear floor is positioned rearward of the front cage in a longitudinal direction, and the intermediate section is disposed at least partially between the front cage and the rear floor in the longitudinal direction.
