Breast pump system

The invention is a wearable breast pump system including a housing shaped at least in part to fit inside a bra and a piezo air-pump. The piezo air-pump is fitted in the housing and forms part of a closed loop system that drives a separate, deformable diaphragm to generate negative air pressure. The diaphragm is removably mounted on a breast shield.

An herb vaporizing apparatus includes an herb receiving port, a grinder to grind the herb, and a heating chamber for heating the ground herb to create a vapor. A first end of the heating chamber is positioned closer to a top of the apparatus than a second end of the heating chamber, such that the ground herb generally moves in at least a partially downward direction as it travels through the heating chamber. The apparatus further includes a screw feeder positioned within the heating chamber that rotates and moves the ground herb within the heating chamber. The apparatus further includes an air pump for pumping vapor out of the heating chamber and a valve positioned along an airway between the heating chamber and a vapor output. The valve permits air and the vapor to move from the heating chamber to the vapor output only while the air pump is activated.

AIR-POWERED PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM WITH INFLATABLE BLADDERS

An air treatment device having a flexible air hose, duct or gooseneck member. The air hose, duct or gooseneck member permits an inlet end thereof to be positioned in proximity to a patient so that a negative pressure can be created around the patient so that air can sucked or vacuumed into the system whereupon it is treated as the air flows through the system.

Pulsed pressure swing adsorption system and method

A pressure swing adsorption (PSA) system and methods for controlling each PSA cycle performed by the PSA system to produce oxygen enriched gas during productive portions of a user breathing cycle, and to cease production of oxygen enriched gas during non-productive portions of the user breathing cycle, is provided. The PSA system synchronizes PSA cycle phases including adsorption and desorption phases with a user's individual inhalation and exhalation phases, on a breath by breath basis, such that each PSA cycle can be dynamically varied from a succeeding PSA cycle, in real time in response to variations in the user's breathing cycle. An oxygen delivery device including a breathing cycle sensor provides breathing cycle inputs to a controller for use with at least one algorithm to detect breathing flow phases during each user breath, and to synchronize each PSA cycle to the user's breathing flow phases, on a breath-by-breath basis.

BREATHING ASSIST DEVICE FOR USE IN MASK
20220023575 · 2022-01-27 · ·

The present disclosure provides a breathing assist device for use in a mask. The breathing assist device may include an air pump, a connecting tube, and a fixing member. A first end of the connecting tube may be disposed on an inner surface of the mask by the fixing member, and a second end of the connecting tube may be connected to the air pump.

Nebulizer and reservoir

A nebulizer for nebulizing a fluid and a reservoir with a fluid are proposed. The reservoir includes a collapsible bag with the fluid, where the bag extends in a circumferential direction within the housing part and wherein the reservoir is manually rotated for tensioning the nebulizer.

Mechanical ventilator with oxygen concentrator

A ventilator includes an enclosure, a tubing configured to receive an input gas, and a flow outlet airline in fluid communication with the tubing. The flow outlet airline includes an airline outlet. The ventilator further includes a breath detection airline including an airline inlet. The airline inlet is separated from the airline outlet of the flow outline airline. The ventilator further includes a pressure sensor in direct fluid communication with the breath detection airline. The ventilator includes a controller in electronic communication with the pressure sensor and an internal oxygen concentrator in fluid communication with the tubing. The internal oxygen concentrator is entirely disposed inside the enclosure.

Intubation Infection Control Tent

An intubation infection control tent system is described. In an example implementation, an infection control tent includes a cover that forms a space in which a patient can be positioned, the cover creating an infectious barrier between the patient and an external environment, one or more support channels integrated into the cover that provide a rigid structure to the cover, and a drape skirt that connects to an edge of the cover and drapes over a portion of the patient.

CANNULAS WITH NON-CIRCULAR CROSS-SECTIONS, SYSTEMS, AND METHODS

A cannula includes a tube having a central passage extending between a proximal end and a distal end of the tube along a longitudinal axis of the tube. A first cross section of the passage taken at or adjacent the distal end of the tube and in a plane normal to the longitudinal axis has a first cross-sectional shape, the first cross-sectional shape being non-circular. A second cross section of the passage taken through a portion of the tube proximal to the distal end of the tube and in a plane normal to the longitudinal axis has a second cross-sectional shape. The first cross-sectional shape is different from the second cross-sectional shape. Systems related to cannulas and tools for insertion through cannulas.
