Further provided are methods of use of the multi-users cannabis dispenser.
CHILD SOOTHING DEVICES COMPRISING ARTIFICIAL MUSCLES
A child soothing device includes a soothing structure includes an outer layer and an inner layer, and one or more artificial muscles disposed between the inner layer and the outer layer of the soothing structure and communicatively coupled to a controller. Each of the one or more artificial muscles includes a housing comprising an electrode region and an expandable fluid region and a dielectric fluid housed within the housing. Each of the one or more artificial muscles also includes an electrode pair positioned in the electrode region of the housing, the electrode pair including a first electrode and a second electrode. The electrode pair is actuatable between a non-actuated state and an actuated state such that actuation from the non-actuated state to the actuated state directs the dielectric fluid into the expandable fluid region, expanding the expandable fluid region, thereby applying pressure to the inner layer of the soothing structure.
Electro-mechanical resuscitating apparatus
The present invention is a mechanical ventilation device which delivers intermittent positive pressure ventilation by compressing AMBU. As the device uses existing AMBU for the ventilation, it is intended to automate the process of hand ventilation and will hence keep the costs and skill requirement low. Due to usage of the AMBU and simple mechanics, it is easy to manufacture and maintain the device.
A NEEDLE DELIVERY DEVICE
A needle delivery device (10; 100) comprises a device body (12) that has an opening (14) formed on a delivery surface (16) of the device body (12). The needle delivery device (10; 100) also includes a drive mechanism (28) which is configured to, in use, drive a needle (20; 120), at least a portion (22) of which is flexible, along a needle path (30) towards the opening (14). The needle path (30) changes direction as it reaches the opening (14). Furthermore, the needle delivery device (10; 100) includes a rigid support member (32) that is fixedly secured to the device body (12) at the opening (14). The rigid support member (32) is configured to guide the needle (20) as it leaves the opening (14) so as to prevent buckling of the needle (20; 120). The device also comprises a vial (40) for containing a pharmaceutical composition, the vial being in fluid communication with one end of the needle, wherein the vial is moveable in tandem with the needle as the needle is driven along the needle path.
DELIVERY DEVICES FOR ADMINISTERING DRUGS
Delivery devices for administering drugs are disclosed. An example apparatus, includes a body including: a handle in which a syringe assembly is to be disposed; a base having a bottom face to be disposed adjacent a user; and an absorbent material attached to the bottom face, the absorbent material structured to hold a fluid to be released onto the user prior to or during an injection procedure.
THIN-PROFILE DELIVERY APPARATUS AND MEDIA CARTRIDGES
An apparatus to provide scent or other substances (e.g., active agent) includes a thin profile delivery apparatus that includes an actuator (e.g., nebulizer) and drive circuit to generate a spray, aerosol or vapor. The apparatus may have a slot to removably a media cartridge that carries the scent or other substances. The apparatus may include two contacts (e.g., buttons), opposed to one another across a dimension of the apparatus. Activation may require both engagement of both contacts, for instance concurrently, or even successive engagement of both contacts, in quick succession. Activation may further require a correct orientation of the apparatus. The apparatus may have a form factor similar to a conventional credit or debit card, and may be pliable or pliably resilient. The delivery apparatus can be used in entertainment (e.g., food or cooking programming), and in healthcare (e.g., control of metabolism).
INTUBATION SYSTEM, METHOD, AND DEVICE
An intubation device utilizes a steerable endotracheal tube guide, a novel mechanism to automatically position an endotracheal tube at the laryngeal opening, and a novel system for soft tissue retraction to improve visualization of the laryngeal opening. An ETT is positioned within an overtube having proximal and distal ends and a flexible tip. The distal end houses a feeder mechanism for displacing the endotracheal tube through the overtube. A hood includes a stem, base, and expandable body, and may be affixed to the overtube's distal end. The ETT-containing overtube is precisely positioned at a laryngeal opening via positioning effects of body expansion, activation of a tip director, and/or flexible tip articulation. Unhindered visualization of the laryngeal opening is achieved by the expandable body, pushing the soft tissue outwardly and extensibly. An actuation module controls the feeder mechanism as well as the flexible tip to position flexible tip and endotracheal tube.
Stimulation of penis erection control
A penis erection stimulation system comprises an implantable drug delivery device for delivering a drug to a penis to achieve erection of the penis. An infusion needle of the device is placed outside a left or a right corpus cavernosum in close proximity thereto and advanced into and retracted from, as well as deliver a drug when advanced into, at least one of: the left or right corpus cavernosum, one or two of deep arteries thereof, muscle tissue regulating blood flow through the right, left or both corpus cavernosum and tissue in close proximity to the left, right or both corpus cavernosum. The at least one infusion needle fits in a position in between the left and right corpus cavernosum at a base of the penile tissue placed inside a patient's body where the left and right corpus cavernosum are deviating away from each other.
Sleep Tracking Method and Device
Systems and techniques for enhanced sleep tracking, monitoring, and conditioning are discussed herein. A device may be couplable to, or integrally formed with, a piece of furniture (a “nearable”) receives sensor data from one or more sensors accessible to the device and, based on a determined stage of sleep, may actuate one or more devices for conditioning sleep. In some examples, the nearable may be configured to receive a smartphone such that one or more processors and sensors of the smartphone may be used to perform at least some of the processes. When configured to receive a smartphone, the nearable's cavity may retain the smartphone via a spring mechanism to create an additional button for user interaction, as well as be shaped to minimize an amount of electromagnetic radiation (including light emitted from a screen) of the smartphone, while optimizing sounds output from the smartphone.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR DISTRIBUTING ROSIN AND OTHER VISCOUS MATERIALS
Systems, devices, and methods are disclosed for pen that distributes viscous plant material, such as rosin, from a cartridge. The pen receives, from a button, input corresponding to a first control instruction. The pen has a motor configured to receive the first control instruction from the controller and, in response, drive a spindle that linearly displaces a plunger, wherein the linear displacement of the plunger causes plant material to be pushed out of a nozzle of the pen. The pen cartridge includes a rubber plug configured to be linearly displaced by the plunger to cause rosin to be disturbed from the cartridge.
