Drug labeling and safe delivery
An infusion device comprising a medication reservoir having at least a first port adapted to be coupled to an inlet port of an infusion equipment, and a first tag support adapted to support a first tag storing information about the content of the medication reservoir and to be read by a tag reader. The infusion device is characterized by a second tag support adapted to support a second tag storing information about the content of a separate vessel, in particular a vial, which content is to be discharged into said medication reservoir so as to mix it with the content of said medication reservoir, wherein said second tag support is provided to arrange and orientate the second tag to the tag reader and therefore to enable the tag reader to also read said second tag.
Appleman Airway
An oral airway for use with a sedated patient is provided. The oral airway includes an elongate shaped member with a lip protector that is operatively associated with the proximal end of the elongate shaped member. The oral airway further includes a bite block that is incorporated around at least a portion of the elongate shaped member. The oral airway further includes a first channel and a second channel, both attached to the oral airway. When a scope is inserted through the oral airway, the elongate shaped member is positioned between the tongue and the scope.
RESPIRATORY MASK
The respiratory mask is formed from a suitable plastic material that is non-permeable to both ambient air and typical respiratory gases, and has sufficient flexibility so as to conform to a patient's face. The respiratory mask includes a mask body that is generally concave, so as to define a cavity adapted to fit over the mouth and nose of a patient, a gas inlet port, and a rotating dial with two instrument access ports. Each instrument access port provides access into the cavity defined by the mask body for an instrument and can be used to guide the instrument into the mouth or nose of the patient. The rotating dial is configured to rotate, allowing each of the instrument access ports to be selectively aligned with the mouth or nose of the patient.
INHALER
The present disclosure relates to an inhaler component for producing a steam/air mixture or/and condensation aerosol in an intermittent and inhalation- or pull-synchronous manner, the inhaler component including: a housing; a chamber arranged in the housing; an air inlet opening for the supply of air from the surroundings to the chamber; an electrical heating element for evaporating a portion of a liquid material; and a wick having a capillary structure, which wick forms a composite structure with the heating element and automatically supplies the heating element with fresh liquid material after evaporation.
PORTABLE SELF SANITIZING MICRONEEDLE DEVICE
A portable, self-sanitizing microneedle device similar in size and shape to a pen, or marker that can be held and manipulated by a human hand. The microneedle device is comprised of a main body with a handle attached to a circular base support structure, a second circular platform structure having screw threads to connect with screw threads on the inside of a substantially conical-shaped cap with a hexagonal base that holds a disinfecting solution, and a third circular platform structure comprising the microneedle support structure covered with a substrate holding a plurality of microneedles. The cap is sealingly and removably attached to the base support structure over the microneedle array using a plurality of sealing surfaces within the cap and on the support structures to create a tight seal that prevents the leakage of the disinfecting solution, and keeps the microneedles sanitized for use at all times, even when traveling.
Electronic gaming system and method of providing progressive jackpot play
A gaming system is provided, including a jackpot server and a gaming server. The jackpot server accumulates respective contributions from gaming client devices into a progressive jackpot. The gaming server presents wagering games to a player on a gaming client device. The wagering games include a first wagering game having a progressive jackpot component, and a second wagering game not having a progressive jackpot component. The gaming server receives a jackpot token from the player, including a token identification associated with the player and a progressive jackpot identification correlating to a token progressive jackpot. A wager is received for the second wagering game, which is conducted such that the player participates in the token progressive jackpot. The gaming server transmits a message to the jackpot server, including a portion of the wager as a contribution to the token progressive jackpot and an outcome of the second wagering game.

RESPIRATORY VENTILATION APPARATUS
Embodiments of the present disclosure provides a respiratory ventilation apparatus including: a main body configured to generate a high pressure gas above atmospheric pressure. The main body may include a noise reduction device, the noise reduction device being configured to reduce a noise generated during an operation of the main body. The noise reduction device may include a gas inlet structure, a noise reduction housing, a blower cavity, and a gas channel. A gas may enter the gas channel through the gas inlet structure. The gas channel may be formed between a sidewall of the noise reduction housing and a sidewall of the blower cavity, and the gas channel may be configured to transfer the gas. The blower cavity may be disposed with at least one cavity gas inlet along a gasflow direction. The gas in the gas channel may enters the blower cavity through the cavity gas inlet.
PERITONEAL DIALYSIS SYSTEM HAVING AIR-AIDED PUMPING SEQUENCES
A peritoneal dialysis (PD) system having an air-aided pumping sequence is disclosed herein. In an example, a PD system includes a housing, a PD fluid pump housed by the housing, an airtrap, a fluid line extending from the airtrap, a fluid line valve positioned and arranged to operate with the fluid line, a gas line extending from an upper portion of the airtrap, and a gas line valve positioned and arranged to operate with the gas line. The system also includes a control unit configured to cause the fluid line valve to close, the gas line valve to open, and the PD fluid pump to pump gas from the airtrap into the gas line after a patient drain to create a pocket of gas in the fluid line and push residual used PD fluid towards a drain line.
