Hockey Stick With Nanofiber Reinforcement
A construct for a hockey stick formed from layers of fiber tape and a reinforcing nanofiber material. The nanofiber is integrated into the molded hockey stick to increase the strength and toughness of inter-laminar bonds between the fiber tape. The nanofiber may include carbon nanotubes.
COMPOSITE GOLF CLUB HEAD AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
A composite golf club head and a method for manufacturing the same are provided. The composite golf club head has a carbon fiber composite body and a striking face. The carbon fiber composite body is formed by multiple carbon fiber prepreg materials or multiple composite prepreg materials including carbon fiber with stacking, a positive pressure, a vacuum negative pressure, and heating. The striking face is made of a carbon fiber composite or metal material, and is fixedly glued to a front opening portion of the carbon fiber composite body. A weight of the carbon fiber composite body is reduced. Center of gravity and moment of inertia can be adjusted easily according to striking distances or feel of striking of different golf club heads for enhancing a striking performance of the composite golf club head.
SHAFTS WITH REINFORCING LAYER FOR SPORTING GOODS AND METHODS OF MANUFACTURE
Disclosed herein are composite shafts for sporting goods, such as archery arrows, golf clubs, and rifles, which include a reinforcing layer to improve the performance of the sporting goods.
Straight shotz
The linear orientation of the user combined with a straight forward sliding stroke motion of present invention presents a novel new way to strike a golf ball toward the hole/target. By utilizing a linear line of site between the user's eyes, present invention, golf ball and the cup, this modern orientation of the golfer is similar to a marksman, the rifle, aiming site/scope and the bull's-eye of his target. While transversely rotating the body 90 degrees left or right (depending on handedness) compared to what has come before and incorporating the invention presented here, a new dimension in putting is opened, more accurately matching ones natural connection between their stance and aim. In nearly every other sport, this similar stance stoke/throw/shot is linear and constant due to its recognized effectiveness.
Golf club head
A golf club head includes a center of gravity spaced less than 5 mm from a vertical center plane that is perpendicular to a striking face plane and extends through a striking face center. The golf club head also includes a first component having a first melting point and a first density and a second component having a second melting point higher than the first melting point and a second density less than the first density. And the second component (i) is at least partially encapsulated by the first component, (ii) extends into a hosel portion below a hosel bore, and (iii) has a mass less than about 5 g.
Golf club
A golf club includes a head; a shaft having a tip end and a butt end; and a grip. The golf club has a length of greater than or equal to 45.0 inches. The head has a weight of greater than or equal to 195 g. The golf club has a club moment about a rotation center of less than or equal to 22.74 (kg.Math.cm), the rotation center being a point 100 mm away from a butt end of the grip. The shaft may have a weight of less than or equal to 40 g. The golf club has a weight of greater than or equal to 280 g. A butt end region having a distance from the butt end of the grip of 100 mm or less may have a weight of greater than or equal to 27 g. This golf club can exhibit an on-plane effect.
ROTATIONAL MOLDED GOLF CLUB HEAD
Wood-type golf clubs and/or golf club heads include: (a) a golf club head base member including a face member having a ball striking face; and (b) a polymeric body member engaged with the golf club head base member, wherein the polymeric body member is formed via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process) and/or engaged with the golf club head base member via a rotational molding process (or other centrifugal force inducing molding process). The polymeric body member forms at least a portion of a crown member of the club head in some structures.
GOLF CLUB HEAD HAVING MULTI-MATERIAL FACE AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURE
A golf club with a multi-material face is disclosed herein. More specifically, the golf club head in accordance with the present invention has a multi-material striking face portion that is made out of a backing layer having a frontal pocket, made out of titanium, and an insert, made out of a composite material, adapted to be inserted into the frontal pocket. The frontal pocket and the insert could have complementary dovetail shaped undercut features to create a mechanical bond between these two components.

POLYMERIC GOLF CLUB HEAD WITH METALLIC FACE
A golf club head includes a club face and a body. The club face is formed from a metallic material and includes a first, hitting surface, a second, rear surface that is opposite the first surface, and a flange that is separated from the second surface by a transverse distance. The body is formed from a polymeric material and includes a crown, a sole, a hosel, and a face support. The club face and the body cooperate to define a closed volume, and the face support extends to opposing sides of the flange and is operative to couple the club face to the body.
