Method of making a composite board and a product made thereby
20170136718 · 2017-05-18 ·

A method of making a composite board and a product made thereby are disclosed. The method includes a lining forming step, a fiber pipe rolling step, a fiber pipe mounting step, a fiber material covering step, and a board body forming step. The product includes a lining acting as a board body, a plurality of long slots formed on the lining, a fiber pipe placed in each of long slots, a foam material mounted in each of fiber pipes, and a fiber material covering an external periphery of the lining. The fiber materials and the fiber pipes are melted and combined together by heat, thereby shortening the operating time. The fiber pipe becomes a reinforcement support structure to increase a structural strength of the composite board, thereby producing a finished product with a light weight and a strong structure.

Lacrosse head pocket and related method of manufacture

A lacrosse head pocket and a related method of manufacture are provided. The pocket can be a molded pocket including individual molded strings, combined strings, shooting strings and support rails extending around a perimeter of the pocket. Certain pocket elements can include transition parts to smoothly transition components having different cross sections. The pocket can include a pre-formed ball channel and hole units having broadsides for connection to a head or other component. The pocket can be attached to a pocket frame, and optionally constructed from a mesh or other synthetic material that is tensioned with the pocket frame. A mold and related molding method are also provided.

A method for manufacturing a pickleball racket includes the following steps: (a) impregnating a composite material with resin; (b) wrapping a core mold, made of PolyMethylMethAcrylimide (PMI), with at least one location to form an elastic layer; wrapping the composite material around the elastic layer and the core mold to form a composite material layer, to form a semi-finished product; (c) placing the semi-finished product into a mold and heating the mold to a predetermined temperature to form internal pressure within the semi-finished product; (d) stopping heating and cooling the semi-finished product to solidify it; (e) removing a pickleball racket from the mold. The pickleball racket forms an integral structure in the order of a core mold, an elastomer layer, and a composite material layer. The pickleball racket is light in weight and has strength and rigidity. The striking surfaces of the pickle racket has hitting elasticity, and shock absorption.

MANUFACTURING METHOD AND STRUCTURE OF COMPOSITE MATERIAL RACKET FRAMES

A manufacturing method and structure for a composite material racket frame includes the following steps: (a) Resin impregnation: Impregnate a composite material with resin; (b) Wrapping the core mold with composite material: Use a core mold in the shape of a racket, made of polymethacrylimide (PMI) or expanded polypropylene (EPP) material; then wrap the composite material around the core mold to form a composite material layer. The mutually wrapped composite material layers and core mold together form a semi-finished product; (c) Heating and pressurizing: Place the semi-finished product into a mold with a cavity, and heat the mold to a preset temperature. After heating, the core mold expands due to heat, forming internal pressure within the semi-finished product; (d) Cooling and curing: Stop heating and allow the semi-finished product to cool until it reaches a cured state, and (e) Finished product formation: Remove a finished racket frame from the mold.

PRODUCTION PROCESS OF INTEGRALLY ENCAPSULATED RACKET

The present invention discloses a production process of an integrally encapsulated racket. The integrally encapsulated racket is provided. The integrally encapsulated racket includes a racket body, the racket body is externally wrapped with a wrapping surface, a plastic adhesive tape is disposed at a connecting part between the wrapping surface and the racket body, the plastic adhesive tape is attached to an edge of the racket body, a top end of the wrapping surface is in a same horizontal plane as a racket surface of the racket body, a handle sleeve is injection molded at a bottom end of the racket body, and an inner side surface of the handle sleeve is closely attached to the wrapping surface.
