Snap-In Edge Trim Design for End Panels
An edge trim for display cases, and methods for making edge trim, are described. Instead of using tape or an adhesive to attach trim to the outer rims of end panels, a shape pattern is created in an extruded trim piece. Then polyurethane liquid can be added to the interior of the panel so that it also fills in the shape pattern. When the polyurethane solidifies into foam it will create a tight bond between the panels and the trim pieces.
DISPLAY DEVICE, THREE-DIMENSIONAL IMAGE FORMING SYSTEM, AND COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM
For creating a surface-textured image on a thermally expandable sheet, an image editor edits the original image data in a plurality of editing manners to generate a plurality of edited image data, the plurality of edited image data corresponding to mutually different textured surface profiles to be created on the thermally expandable sheet, and the image editor causes a display unit to display a plurality of preview images that are generated in accordance with the plurality of edited image data, respectively, in such a manner as to enable a comparison of differences among the plurality of editing manners by a user.
Method for manufacturing articles from e-waste feedstocks
A method of recycling plastic e-waste material and products made from recycled e-waste involves one or more separate streams of different plastic waste which are reduced to small granular form, blended together or separately or used separately before insertion into a compounder which reduces the small sized plastic particles to a semi-molten emulsion. The emulsion is placed in a press and molded to a final product shape. The final product is finished and inspected. The products from the recycled plastic e-waste can be used as substrates on road signs.
SOFT SIGNAGE DISPLAY
A soft signage, or soft signage piece, is disclosed. The soft signage comprises a display and a frame. The display comprises a substrate and a strip of material. The display is sized to fit tightly within the frame. The substrate may be a natural or synthetic material. In some embodiments, the substrate is a polyester fabric. The fabric has a graphic printed on at least one side thereof. The graphic may extend edge to edge of the fabric. The display includes a strip of material attached along the substrate edges using welding. The strip of material may be referred to as a keder. In some embodiments, the welding comprises RF welding. The display, comprising a printed substrate and welded strip of material, may comprise a silicon edge graphic (SEG). The frame may be formed in any suitable shape and size and includes a recessed groove or slot for receiving the strip of material on the substrate. The frame may comprise any suitable material such as, for example, extruded aluminum.
Polypropylene-based sheet materials and methods for making the same
Polypropylene-based sheet materials such as a polypropylene-based foam sheet material and a multilayered sheet material including the polypropylene-based foam as a layer are disclosed. The multilayered sheet material may include the polypropylene-based foam layer sandwiched between and adhered to outer polypropylene-based polymer films to provide a multilayered sheet material. The polypropylene-based foam sheet and multilayered sheet material including the polypropylene-based foam as a layer may be used in the production of printed products such as sign panels.
