Method of manufacturing a strap for a wearable device
A strap for a wearable device comprises a printed circuit board (PCB) located within said strap. The PCB comprises a first electronic component, coupled to a first flexible portion. The first electronic component is mounted to a cage, the cage comprising a cage pivot mount. The flexible portion is under tension and urges said first electronic component towards said cage pivot mount such that a pivotable connection is formed between said cage and said first electronic component. Also disclosed is a method of manufacture of the strap.
Novel Thermoplastic Baling Strap
A novel thermoplastic baling wire suitable for baling waste destined for either recycling or for refuse derived fuel, having recyclable properties and good self-knotting properties comprises recycled thermoplastic material is polyethylene terephthalate comprising 6%2% by weight of polyethylene. A method of manufacture of said baling wire comprises preparing a masterbatch of recycled polyethylene terephthalate (rPET) including one or more multi-functional acrylic oligomers to obtain a modified recycled polyethylene terephthalate; combining said modified rPET with a phthalocyanine based nucleating agent; transitioning said modified rPET from molten to solid state; and extruding said modified rPET material into an elongate band.
Handheld strapping device
Strapping devices and methods are provided. The strapping device can include a member. The strapping device can include a first actuator coupled with the member to move the member between a first position and a second position. The strapping device can include a sensor to detect an electrical characteristic of the first actuator and to transmit a signal indicative of the electrical characteristic. The strapping device can include a data processing system. The data processing system can receive the signal and determine the member is in contact with a welding component based on the electrical characteristic. The data processing system can determine the second position of the member based on the member being in contact with the welding component. The data processing system can transmit a control signal to the first actuator and a second actuator to initiate a welding cycle with the member at the second position.
PACKING METHOD AND PACKING MACHINE
In a packing method, the band divided into blocks each having a length necessary for one packing of a package object in a longitudinal direction is used, and a mark is provided at a predetermined position in each of the blocks so as to arrange a boundary portion between the blocks on a blade provided in a sealing unit when the mark is detected at a detection position provided on a band feeding path of the packing machine. By performing a position alignment process of retracting the band by the roller unit from a state of which the band is fed until when at least one of the boundary portions passes over the blade, and terminating the retracting when the mark is detected at the detection position, the boundary portion is arranged above the blade, thereby the band can always be accurately cut at the boundary portion.
Component of a carrier system
The present disclosure discloses a component of a carrier system comprising a belt element which is fastened to the component by a first end and comprises a second free end, by means of which it can be threaded through at least one loop of a second component, in order to fasten the components to one another, wherein the belt element comprises a textile belt strap and a plastics element. In this case, the plastics element is moulded onto the belt strap.
