Attaching structure assembly for an attached component
A structure is used wherein a clip holding component of a harness protector can be formed as a separate item from a clip. A clip holding component of a type that is moveable in the X axis direction is used for a least one of the clip holding components of the harness protector. This clip holding component that is moveable in the X axis direction has a widened slit to accommodate misalignment in the X axis direction b. The clip holding component may be combined with other stationary type clip holding components or clip holding components which are moveable in the Y axis direction.
Preforms for flair applications
A preform can be made from two different materials that do not bond together by a bi-injection process, using the same mold. First an outer preform can be fashioned first, then an inner preform molded through a center hole in the outer preform, and the preforms connected. Inner/outer preform materials can be different, e.g., PET/polyolefin or polyamide, or the same, e.g., PET/PET. To prevent mutual bonding during molding of the second, a non-stick coating can be sprayed on a surface portion of the first preform prior to molding, the second. Manufacturing order can be either outer/inner, or inner/outer, and the non-stick coating sprayed on the inside/outside of the perform first molded.
Bag with gripping bands
A closure for closing a bag and a die head and method for making the closure. The closure includes two closure members having support walls and mating interlocking profiles. The support walls are resilient and have self-retaining forms in vertical section including middle sections curving outwardly away from one another when mounted on a bag. Top portions of the support walls extend outwardly away from one another to form gripping panels when the closure is closed. A die head for forming a closure member includes a body that defines a slot including a support wall segment for forming the support wall of the closure member. The support wall segment includes first and second portions oriented transverse to one another and intersecting at a vertex. To form the closure member, polymer is extruded through the slot and quenched.
Clip fixing jig
A clip fixing jig for fixing a clip member in a molding die for molding a seat pad has a wall part erected along a whole outer peripheral edge of a bottom part thereof. The wall part forms, above the bottom part, an accommodation space for accommodating extending parts. The clip fixing jig has fixing parts for detachably fixing a clip member, so that a clip member can be fixed to the clip fixing jig by inserting the clip member in the accommodation space. With a clip fixing jig provided in a molding die, a seat pad can be formed by insert molding, so that workability in clip member fixing work is improved.

Heat Resistant Toughened Themoplastic Composition for Injection Molding
Injection molded parts with a small dimension that exhibit high heat resistance are described. Thermoplastic compositions that can be utilized to form the injection molded parts are described. The thermoplastic composition includes a polyarylene sulfide and a crosslinked impact modifier. The thermoplastic composition can also include siloxane polymers, thermoplastic elastomers, or other additives that can further improve the characteristics of the injection molded parts.
SNAP-TYPE FASTENER ARRANGEMENT
A snap-type fastener arrangement includes various elements. For example, the snap-type fastener arrangement includes a socket component and a stud component. The stud component is insertable into the socket component to releasably couple two items together. The snap-type fastener includes a construction having a relatively low profile that does not extensively protrude outward from the underlying article to which the snap-type fastener is attached. The socket component includes a portion for securing the socket component to a textile layer and a central portion that extends through the textile layer. The stud component may be inserted into a socket aperture in the central portion of the socket in order to mate the two components.
Methods and apparatus for a 3D-printed spring
Various embodiments of the present technology may provide methods and apparatus for a 3D-printed spring. The 3D-printed spring may be formed from a plurality of toroidal elements spaced apart from each other and connected with a plurality of connectors. Each connector connects one toroidal element to a directly adjacent toroidal element.
ITEM OF HEADWEAR
Adjustment mechanisms for items of headwear are disclosed. An adjustment mechanism for an item of headwear includes a first connection member secured to a first side of an opening formed into a backside of the piece of headwear and a second connection member secured to a second side of the opening opposite the first side. The first connection member includes a first plastic portion having a first spine extending from a first base, and a first moldable portion secured to the first plastic portion. The first spine has a plurality of posts. The second connection member includes a second plastic portion comprising a second spine extending from a second base, and a corresponding second moldable portion secured to the second plastic portion. The second spine has a plurality of apertures. A portion of the posts of the first connection member is selectively received into the apertures.
