Methods of making a deflection member
A method for manufacturing a deflection member is disclosed. The method may include the step of incorporating a monomer, a photoinitiator system, a photoinhibitor, and/or a reinforcing member. A further step includes blending the monomer, photoinitiator, and/or photoinhibitor to form a blended photopolymer resin. Further steps may be exposing the photopolymer resin to radiation form a first radiation source and/or a second radiation source.
WALL CLEANING TOOL
A cleaning tool includes a base wall and at least one curving wall extending away from the base wall and upward in a direction away from a surface to be cleaned.
METHODS OF MAKING A DEFLECTION MEMBER
A method for manufacturing a deflection member is disclosed. The method may include the steps of: providing an additive manufacturing apparatus that comprises at least one radiation source and a vat comprising a photopolymer resin, providing a reinforcing member comprising a first surface and a second surface that is opposite the first surface, contacting at least the second surface of the reinforcing member with the photopolymer resin, and directing radiation from a first radiation source and a second radiation source toward the first surface of the reinforcing member.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING BALANCE RING ASSEMBLIES
The current disclosure provides for methods of manufacturing a balance ring assembly. Such a method includes the steps of securing an upper ring component to a drive head; securing a lower ring component to the weld joint of a base platform; moving the drive head linearly from a home position to a pre-determined touch position; upon reaching the pre-determined touch position, applying a first pressure to the upper ring component and lower ring component; rotating the drive head to move the upper ring component along a first rotational path relative to the lower ring component; and moving the drive head linearly a first distance to move the upper ring component toward the lower ring component and moving the drive head rotationally to move the upper ring component along a second rotational path relative to the lower ring component.
Methods of making a deflection member
A method for manufacturing a deflection member is disclosed. The method may include the steps of providing an additive manufacturing apparatus that includes at least one radiation source and a vat containing a photopolymer resin, providing a reinforcing member, contacting a surface of the reinforcing member with the photopolymer resin, and directing radiation from the at least one radiation source towards a surface of the reinforcing member to at least partially cure photopolymer resin in contact with the surface of the reinforcing member to create at least a portion of a lock-on layer.

Further steps may be emitting a first wavelength and emitting a second wavelength. A further step may be polymerizing the monomer to form a resinous framework comprising protuberance locked-on to the reinforcing member.
Device for a vacuum cleaner filter bag with a holding device and a closure device
The invention relates to a device for a vacuum cleaner filter bag comprising a holding device with a passage opening and a closure device for closing the passage opening of the holding device, wherein the closure device comprises a closure flap and an elastic element made of a cross-linked silicone elastomer, and the elastic element is pretensioned in a state in which the closure flap closes the passage opening of the holding device.
Auxetic Polyurethane and Melamine Foams by Triaxial Compression
Described herein is a process for preparing a foam (FA) with a Poisson's ratio in the range of from 0.5 to 0.3, the method including the steps of providing a foam (F1) with a flow resistance in the range of from 3000 to 8000 Pas/m, determined according to DIN EN 29053, and subjecting the foam (F1) to thermoforming including triaxial compression, wherein the foam (F1) is not reticulated prior to step (ii). Also described herein is the foam obtained or obtainable according to the process and the use of the foam as, for example, an energy absorbing device, preferably in protective gear, furniture, cushions, in cleaning devices with improved rinse-out behavior, in shoe soles, or as sealing, insulating or anchorage providing material for example used in earphones, ear plugs or dowels, or as acoustic material.
SCRUB SPONGE AND PREPARATION METHOD THEREFOR
Disclosed are a scrub sponge and a preparation method therefor. The method for preparing the scrub sponge includes the operations of: obtaining a first mixture by stirring alkalizer, porogen, konjac powder, scrub granule and water, and filling the first mixture into a mold to form a preform, where the preform includes a first sponge layer; forming a parison by sequentially cooking and freezing the preform; and sequentially unfreezing, dehydrating and drying the parison to obtain the scrub sponge.
