Mechanically Retained Seat for Valve Assembly
A valve assembly may include a seat that is formed integrally (e.g., cast) into a dovetail shaped cavity. A portion of the seat is present above the surface of the disc according to a desired profile and to provide a bubble tight seal. Walls of the dovetail may include an angled surface (e.g., 45 degrees) for retention considerations. The dovetail may be cast, as opposed to machined, to reduce manufacturing costs. Additionally, the seat may be mechanically deformed before it can be removed.
PLASTIC FAUCET BODY AND A DIE FOR MOLDING THE SAME
The invention discloses a plastic faucet body and a molding tool thereof. The faucet body includes a left water inlet pipe (1) and a right water inlet pipe (2), wherein a left valve seat installation recess (11) is formed in the left water inlet pipe (1) and a right valve seat installation recess (21) is formed in the right water inlet pipe (2). A connecting cross-beam (3) is disposed between the left water inlet pipe (1) and the right water inlet pipe (2), wherein the connecting cross-beam (3) is provided with a water outlet (31) and a middle water channel is formed within the connecting cross-beam (3). The middle water channel includes a left water inlet channel (32) and a right water inlet channel (33), wherein the left water inlet pipe (1) and the water outlet (31) are connected with the left water inlet channel (32), and the right water inlet pipe (2) and the water outlet (31) are connected with the right water inlet channel (33), and the left water inlet channel (32) and the right water inlet channel are arc-shaped or U-shaped. The invention also discloses a molding tool of the plastic faucet. The faucet has good sealing performance and the plastic faucet body is integrally molded, such that the manufacturing process is simplified and the cost is reduced and the production efficiency is improved.
DUCKBILL VALVE AND METHOD FOR MAKING A DUCKBILL VALVE
A duckbill valve includes a flexible and hollow body having a first shape upon being formed by injection molding. The body in the first shape has a first opening at a first end and a second opening at a second end. The body is configured to be inverted into a second shape. The second shape has a first opening at a first end and has a slit at a second end. The slit is defined by lips that are pressed together to form a seal.
Valve body and method for producing the valve body
The invention relates to a valve body including a membrane which cooperates with a valve seat, wherein the valve body and the membrane are connected to each other in the region of a laser weld seam in a bonded and fluid-tight manner.
Air Flow Leakage Control Via New Valve Gear Design and Assembly Process
An assembly and method of assembling a butterfly control valve assembly (such as a throttle body or exhaust gas recirculation valve) having a metal valve shaft with a valve. A plastic end cap is secured into an end of the metal shaft. A plastic valve gear housing is laser welded to the end cap.
MOUNTING ELEMENT, MOUNTING SET, METHOD FOR MOUNTING, AND COMPONENT
A mounting element, i.e., a retaining element or clip, for mounting a terminal element at a component housing of a component body by extrusion-coating the component body at least in part with a coating material, which is designed (i) for holding and positioning a terminal element at a component housing of a component body while the component body is being extrusion-coated with a coating material, and (ii) for accommodating at least in part in the interior of a molding tool during the coating, (iii) which includes at least two support elements, and (iv) in which the at least two support elements are designed so that they are supported at an inner surface of the molding tool when the mounting element is held at the component housing of the component body while the component body and the mounting element are accommodated in the interior of the molding tool.
SOLENOID VALVE
A solenoid valve includes a housing, a valve element provided in the housing to open and close a valve port, and a resin-molded guide member that includes a support portion supporting the valve element to be slidable in an axial direction, and an attachment portion attached to and in contact with an inner side of the housing. The guide member further includes an intermediate joint portion connecting the attachment portion and the support portion. The attachment portion is larger in shape in an orthogonal direction orthogonal to the axial direction than the intermediate joint portion. The support portion extends in the axial direction from the intermediate joint portion. The guide member has an injection-molding gate mark on an outer face of the attachment portion.
Valve stem with head covered by covering material and method of making valve stem
A valve head engageable and disengageable with a valve seat of a valve comprises a valve body that includes a recess, a disk at one axial end of the recess and a flange at the other axial end of the recess so that the recess is positioned axially between a portion of the disk and a portion of the flange. The outermost portion of the flange extends outwardly beyond the outermost portion of the disk. A covering made of a material different from and more elastic than the material forming the valve body entirely covers the disk. A portion of the covering is positioned in the recess to mechanically connect the covering to the valve body. The outermost portion of the flange is in direct contact with the covering.
Regulating device for an internal combustion engine
A regulating device for an internal combustion engine includes an exhaust gas recirculation pipe which opens into an intake pipe which are both formed in a housing, and a regulating element eccentrically mounted on a shaft. The shaft is arranged perpendicular to a center line of the intake pipe and the exhaust gas recirculation pipe. The regulating element includes a first surface, a second surface, and guide ribs arranged on the first surface. In a first end position of the regulating element, in which the intake pipe is at least throttled upstream of an opening of the exhaust gas recirculation pipe, a normal vector of the first surface points to an upstream side of the intake pipe. In a second end position of the regulating element, in which the exhaust gas recirculation pipe is closed, a normal vector of the second surface points to the exhaust gas recirculation pipe.
DEVICE AND METHOD FOR LIMITING OR KEEPING CONSTANT A FLOWING QUANTITY OF LIQUID
A device for limiting or keeping constant a quantity of fluid flowing therethrough, includes: a housing with a front chamber and a rear chamber; a partition arranged in the housing with two or more openings; and a flow limiting element arranged in one or both openings. The flow limiting element includes a housing provided with an inlet, an outlet and a throughflow opening; and a resilient plate-like valve element mounted in the housing, substantially able to close the throughflow opening by resilient movement in the direction of a valve seat arranged in the housing adjacently of the throughflow opening. The valve element is fixed on one side and can move resiliently on the opposite side in the direction of the valve seat. A mould produces one or more injection-moulded products. The injection-moulded product is a flow limiter for limiting the force of the flow of a fluid flowing therethrough.
